A Proposed Bill in Wyoming to Control Payments To Property Owners

Print Friendly, PDF & Email
Wyoming state Senator John Haynes, R – Cheyenne and Representative Pete Illoway, R – Cheyenne are sponsoring a bill that would prohibit Wyoming landowners from receiving compensation payments for wildlife damages to their property unless they open their lands to the public for hunting.

Although the Bill doesn’t seem to have much of a chance for passage, Bob Krumm, outdoor writer for the Billings Gazette has something to say about that bill and why he feels that the bill sends a wake up call to land owners and outfitters.
