Ohio Division of Wildlife Can Keep Fees From Hunting and Fishing Licenses

In the past, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources has been able to use fees collected from hunting and fishing licenses and spend the money on non-wildlife projects.

Governor Bob Taft signed a bill yesterday that will prohibit that from happening. Hunters and fishermen have been promised in the past that this kind of misappropriation would not continue. Now a bill will prevent that.
