San Francisco Talk Show Host Receives James Madison Award

The James Madison Award was founded by the Second Amendment Foundation is honor of President James Madison who wrote the 2nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Each year it is presented to someone in media who is instrumental in the preservation of citizen’s 2nd Amendment rights.

This year’s recipient is Jeff Katz of WKNEW located in the Oakland and San Francisco, California area.

Founder and vice president Alan Gottlieb stated, “Jeff Katz is perhaps the most outspoken radio talk show host in America to support the Second Amendment.” He also said that the decision to give Katz the award was unanimous among the staff and board members of the foundation.
