Michigan Turkey Drawing To Be Posted March 1

The results of the spring drawing for turkey permits in Michigan will be posted at the DNR web site beginning March 1, 2006. Here’s the link to that page. Those who did not apply online, will be mailed a postcard notification.
Beginning March 8, 2006, surplus turkey permits can be purchased in person at licensing agent locations. Officials state that after the lottery was completed, there were 47,000 permits left over.
