There are 19 leftover moose permits for the 2006 upcoming moose hunt. The leftover permits are scattered throughout the state in several hunt areas. You can view which hunt area has how many permits in each here at the Idaho Fish and Game website.
The application process for the leftover permits runs from June 15 until June 25. The website also tells you where you can make application. After this process is complete, any remaining moose premits will be sold on a first come first served basis.
