Time To Apply For an Elk Permit In Michigan

The application process for the hopefuls that want to hunt elk in Michigan began on Thursday, June 15 and will run until July 15, 2006. Pending approval by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, 168 permits will be issued via a computerized random lottery drawing.
