WV DNR Buys More Land

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources has completed the purchase of 542 acres of land from the New Allegheny,Inc. in Mineral County. The land is adjacent to the Allegheny Wildlife Management Area and will be added to the area bringing the total acerage of that unit to 6,345 acres.

The land was purchased for $284,000, the money of which comes from the sale of hunting and fishing licenses. The Mineral Daily News has more.
