Wyoming Governor Asks Idaho Governor To Ban Game Farms

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

It has begun. I wondered how long it would take before officially calls would go out to ban game ranches in Idaho because of the escaping of elk from an eastern Idaho elk farm. Wyoming’s Governor Freudenthal has asked Idaho’s Governor Risch to ban game farming and to help set up a better communications system between Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.

Governor Risch said he would take the lead in setting up a communications format but did not address Freudenthal’s request that he ban game farms.
