Ohio Farm Bureau Wants To Cut Deer Herd In Half

The Ohio Farm Bureau says deer account for $1.1 billion losses in crops, timber and landscape plantings. They intend to lobby the Legislature and demand that the state work to reduce the deer herd by one half. That would be cutting an estimated number of 600,000 down to no more than 250,000 they say.
