Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease Found In Several Deer In West Central Texas

Epizootic hemorrhagic disease, also referred to as blue tongue disease by some, is being found by biologists at a higher than normal rate in areas of west central Texas. EHD is a viral disease that is similar to blue tongue found in sheep and cattle. Scientists are watching these areas as several reports of dead whitetail deer have been reported.
