Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In preparation for when and if the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service removes the wolf from the Endangered Species list, Idaho fish and game officials decided on setting the cost of a wolf hunting permit at $26.50. This is in addition to a regular hunting license – $12.50. Cost to a non-resident will run $256.00.

The commission also established 10 special permits to be used to auction off to raise funds for wolf management.

An announcement could come as early as next week about the de-listing process.
