A reader sent me some information and photographs that he took near his travels as a trapper. Below is a brief explanation he gave with the photographs that follow that.
“Cutting some wood nearby, so I threw a couple coyote carcasses over a steep bank. Fox had been after it a bit, but yesterday I looked over and the whole area was packed down with coyote tracks. The carcasses were pulled out and about half eaten. Probably just a couple coyote or so, but the amount of milling around was unreal. Maybe an area 100ft by 200ft.”
