Evolution of a Hunter

October 10, 2012

Ok! I just got this email and decided I would go ahead and post it and see how readers respond. Personally, I’m not sure if this is at all serious or not. It looks and sounds more like a project of stereotyping with little good to say about hunting. But maybe I’m too sensitive. What do you think?

I find this offensive. As a member of a very large hunting family, it was never about the shooting, the size or gender of the animal or anything else. It is an activity that the whole family participates in. We target practice during the year to not waste shots, We process our own game and know exactly what we are eating. We thank God that we are able to procure our own meat and feed ourselves.
This cartoonish like presentation is not representative of hunting families I know.
