Land of The Midnight Sun, OR…..

Maybe it should be called Land of the Midday Moon. The photo below was taken in Anchorage Alaska on January 8, 2013 at 11:30 am. The sun is trying to peek up over the top of the mountain in the Southeast. The author says that this time of year, the sun doesn’t get any higher than this.
