Humane Society of the United States is All About Money

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Humane Watch has a recent article that exposes the actions of the Humane Society of the United States(HSUS) in which their main goal is to raise money and not to care for animals. After all, they have large salaries and pensions to pay and as a result do very little for the care and concern for animals.

In Maine, where HSUS is mounting a multi-million dollar campaign against the citizens of that state to end bear hunting, those who support wildlife management that allows the managers to implement tools necessary for healthy populations of animals, have repeatedly stated that HSUS, an organization centered in Washington, D.C., is all about money and are using the referendum in Maine for the purpose of raising more money to pay more salaries and pensions.

In the Humane Watch article, it is about a lawsuit filed against HSUS because they fired the head of a horse sanctuary. The lawsuit claimed an illegal termination. During testimony, part of a deposition, the fired woman spoke openly of how she was told her job was to raise big money not run the facility or care for the animals, which evidently was being done by someone else.

If for no other reason than to know that HSUS uses your donations for personal use, i.e. salaries and pensions and nothing toward animal welfare, you should stop donating to such a fake and corrupt organization.
