Random Thoughts and Comments

Well, perhaps not so random.

Evidently there were violent protests outside a Trump rally in Mexifornia, where protesters, mostly of Mexican decent, jumped on police cars and other outstanding acts of idiocy, while waving Mexican flags. My comment is a question. If it so goddamn wonderful here in the United States, then why not wave the American Flag instead of the flag of the place you disliked so much you had to leave? Or is it somebody is paying them enough money to wave the Mexican flag so as to foment more hatred?

I do recall while I was in the U.S. Military during the early 1970s, everyone was required to take a government-crafted race relations class (wink, wink). I grew up in a northern, predominantly-white state and had no thoughts one way or another about race. As a matter of fact, a man I befriended while in Boot Camp, happened to be a black man. We hung out when we could and shared puffs on cigarettes, etc,…until the “brothers” threatened him with his life if he didn’t stop hanging out with a “whitey.” Thus began my real race relations schooling.

But, back to race relations class. After a week of classes, in which with each successive day I built up more anger and resentment toward the blacks, in general – something I never experienced before in my life – we were required to take two tests. The point of the tests, supposedly, was to prove that testing can be white-biased and/or black-biased, i.e. if a white man took a black-biased test, he might experience what black men face taking a, so-called, white-biased test, provided of course that such test taker was a product of government-sponsored education, propaganda and fomenting of hatred. If you happened not to be, Government was going to make sure you were one way or another.

I got a perfect score on both tests and was immediately kicked out of the class.

I wonder why?

Over the years I have learned that almost all events in life that originate from governments are designed to fail in positive ways, but winning is what we see in society today – more hatred and racism.

John Boehner is heard telling a group of people that Ted Cruz is “Lucifer in the flesh.” I made a comment the other day that if anyone should be able to recognize “Lucifer in the flesh” it would be him. Of course his comment was meant to be a joke. Bwahahahahahahahahaaha

Evidently Lucifer in the Flesh’s father didn’t like that comment and decided to lash out at Boehner by attacking Donald Trump. While claiming the high ground, Rafael Cruz said that Ted is essentially the only man in the world who knows, understands and follows God’s word. Really? I think I heard similar statements before….. and millions of people have died at the hands of the Vatican.

One has to wonder, that if a person is so heavily into God and his Word, how can he therefore exclaim, “If you vote according to the word of God, there’s only one candidate you can vote for,”

It is my thought that if you are following God’s word, you wouldn’t be participating in the biggest fraud and deception this country promotes that works so hard at destroying God’s word.

John Wayne Day in California isn’t going to happen because all the minorities that aren’t minorities anymore, are offended by John Wayne.  If that’s how the game is played, let’s make a list!

Idiots in the Media are saying that one football player, once believed to go high in the Draft, which began last night, instead of getting drafted in the top 5 or 6 fell to 13th, overall, because somebody released a video showing him with a gas mask on smoking pot with a bong. If that how the game is played, let’s make a list.

China is building military bases in the South China Sea. The United States doesn’t like that. So, how many military bases does the U.S. have scattered around the world? – 662 in 38 foreign countries comes to mind.

And finally, for all you devout Catholics who believe you must go to a confessional to tell the “father” all your secrets/sins in order to be worthy of….of….of….well, I dunno what it makes you worthy of. But soon, you will be able to spill your guts to the pope through a robot. I wonder if the machine will take paper money or credit cards only? What could possible go wrong?

When is Murdering a Baby Not Murder?

Authorities in Cleveland say that Ariel Castro may face the death penalty because he starved one of the women he kidnapped and beat her stomach to force an aborted fetus…..at least five times. My question is, if Castro had allowed each of the babies to be born and then stuck a pair of scissors into the skulls of the babies or snipped the baby’s spinal chords at the base of their necks, would he then be only facing assault and battery charges or something similar?

Only One of the Problems With Corrupt and Stupid Media

Joe Scarborough, of miscarriage media, MSNBC, said that the Obama Administration would be in a bigger mess if the “far right” (whatever in his mind that means) “hadn’t overplayed their hand.” For some of you, you may struggle with this, but take a minute to think about how ridiculously ignorant that statement is and how it shows Joe Scarborough to be a non journalist goon, moron and an obvious shill for whoever is paying his wages…..or maybe he’s of the same average intelligence as all other television personalities posing as journalists.

If there were to exist today any such thing as a “journalist”, and Scarborough is barely above a 2nd grade level of brain function, they would ask themselves a simple question about the events in Benghazi. Do all the excuses add up? There is either a problem or there isn’t a problem. To choose to not cover the Benghazi afterbirth, one has to believe that Joe Scarborough, if he were legitimate, didn’t think there was anything to the story that there was a coverup or even a lack of proper response to the attack by terrorists who murdered four Americans.

Now, he comes riding in on his green energy electric horse claiming to be some elitist, all-knowing, all-seeing, right hand of the Obama/Hillary god, attempting to demonize the “far right” (whatever in his mind that means) and makes a complete idiot of himself. I love it.

The problem is, most people are programmed to think differently than I do and I understand that. They will either hate Scarborough because he said something bad against their side, or they will love him because he said something good about their side. For those that need an interpretation, Joe Scarborough was just admitting there is a serious problem here but he chose (and the rest of the mainstream media) not to cover the story because the “far right” was.

BRILLIANT! JUST BRILLIANT! Damn we are so blessed.

Random Thoughts and Comments

I haven’t done one of these for awhile, but as I was driving back across town yesterday, all these little questions and observations were banging around in my head – much like a BB in a boxcar….if you can imagine.

It’s been a few hours since that time but let me see if I can remember at least some of my “random thoughts and comments.”

How Did We Ever Survive?

Maybe some of you readers are old enough to remember when cars were made with the dimmer switch on the floor board and you used your foot to switch your lights from low to high beam. Some brilliant “inventor” must have decided one day that the human being wasn’t capable of running three pedals AND a dimmer switch with two feet, so they moved it up to the steering column. Note: Three pedals would consist of accelerator, brake and clutch and some older cars had a starter pedal located usually to the right of the accelerator.

Two feet, back then operated 4 items, while the two hands had control over the steering, a horn, a directional turning signal (depending on the age of the car or truck), shifting lever for the transmission, perhaps a radio, windshield wipers, heater controls and hopefully there were not a lot of other “extracurricular” activities taking place up front or in the back.

So, the super intelligent person moved the damned dimmer switch up to the steering column and today two feet control one gas pedal and one brake (most all cars are automatic transmissions now.) With two feet, having little to do really, the two hands are overtaxed and by God it’s nothing short of a miracle that more people aren’t injured or killed each day.

Two hands take care of the steering wheel, the horn, the automatic transmission shift, the directional indicator light switch, the cruise control, the window wipers and washers, the radio, the heat, the AC, the CD player, the DVD player, all the windows and door locks, seat heaters, GPS, computer (for some), and let’s toss in a dog sitting on one’s lap as well, and by God let’s not leave out that wonderful piece of machinery that has done more to destroy the American society than anything so far in history – the almighty cellphone. Ah, yes. The cellphone.

When you watch people drive while on the highway or driving through city traffic, seldom is there a driver not driving with a cellphone, seemingly permanently attached to an ear. One hand on the steering wheel and the other on the phone while all them other devices get overlooked……including the three or more rear view mirrors.

Not only is the driver severely distracted by the cellphone, but it completely ties up the use of one hand; a hand that is needed to properly control the all important function of operating a deadly instrument.

The cellphone has taken over life in America and certain other places worldwide. Watch people as they go about their day to day. All are consumed by the device. It has turned us into non thinking idiots who have no interpersonal communication skills outside of a cellphone and texting on the cellphone. The world is passing us by.

And just when you think you’ve seen it all, on the weekend I was leaving home. Across the street from where I live, there is a small farm that raises a few beef critters, alpacas, hens and roosters (and they sell eggs). In addition they board horses. As I passed the access area to the pasture and small hovel where the horses hang out, I noticed a young woman in her riding gear and perched atop a horse that was walking in large circles. The rider was busy texting on her cellphone.

Is That the Reason?

Is it a mere coincidence that since John Kerry and Chuck Hagel took over as Sec. of State and Sec. of Defense respectively, things have heated up in Syria, North Korea is threatening to nuke the world, Israel is more determined than ever to blow up Iran, Iran is more determined than ever to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and on and on it goes?

Those Damned Executive Orders

I’ve been reading a bit lately that some believe that there exists, at least one or more person’s interpretation of law, the provision for the president to sign a treaty and then use his executive powers to enact such a treaty even if the U.S. Senate fails to ratify the treaty.

Now, how important are those executive orders presidents have been using for decades?

The Constitution says all treaties become the supreme law of the land. It also says that those treaties must be ratified by the Senate. So much for following the Constitution.

Where’s the Beef?

If Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell had used a gun to murder all those new-born babies, would there have been a different response from the media?

Change of Priorities

Many cities and states across the U.S. are banking on increased “tourism” due to the legalization of same sex marriages and mind altering drugs. Think about that for a minute.

Random Thoughts/Comments: Lewis & Clark, Dog Wagging, Pond Scum, Unemployment, Global Cooling

I was rereading through the journals and history of the Lewis and Clark Expeditions. When Lewis and Clark had essentially traveled upstream of the Missouri River to a point they could no longer go by boats, they had yet to meet up with the Shoshoni Indians. While the bulk of the expedition troop camped at “the forks”, I believe it was Lewis, with a small contingency of men, set out to meet up with the natives.

Of course they did find them and an interesting part I was reading was about how the Shoshonis devoured meat from deer and elk that the hunters of the L&C expedition provided for them. They devoured most everything in rapid fashion, including entrails, and didn’t bother to take the time to cook it. Yum!

What I discovered as I read on was that where the Shoshonis had decided to spend their summers was buried deep in the mountains in areas where there was little to eat, i.e. deer, elk, moose or any kind of wild animal to speak of. They mostly tried to subsist on fish and salmon from streams that were mostly part of the Columbia River watershed – obviously they had crossed the Continental Divide by this time.

Essentially, when Lewis and Clark found them, while not starving to death, they certainly were far from being well nourished. But there was a reason they hid out in the mountains. They feared the Minnetaree Indians. They had warred with them over the years and suffered greatly as a tribe. It was only during winter when the Shoshonis moved down out of the mountains nearer where the buffalo roamed.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition spent a fair amount of time around where the Shoshonis hung out and day after day, L&C sent their hunters out for food and came back empty handed. At times they had to dig into their “emergency” supplies of dried foods. They finally had to move out of this area and at the same time send the hunters far away from camp to find food. Interesting. Later events recall serious issues with finding food.

One has to wonder if perhaps there is a bit of tail wagging the dog going on in the world or at least a lot of posturing that has people in a stir. My brother readily uses the analogy of “watching the hand”. He illustrates by overtly waving one of his hands in my face while hiding the other behind his back. The intent is to get you to pay attention to the waving hand in front of your face while the other hand does something deceptive that he doesn’t want you to know about.

Well, there’s an awful lot of hand waving with attempts at getting people to have a look at all the commotion, but what is really going on? Is this clamor a diversion away from events at home while in the middle of a republican presidential primary? Or perhaps it’s deflecting attention toward Iran and Israel in order to be drawn away from some other sinister event.

Everything happens for a reason and the other day when Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced troop withdrawal from Afghanistan one year early, there had to be a reason other than “gee I thought it would be cool”.

Today, the chatter is about Israel may attack Iran in the spring. Some reports seem to not be discussing if but when.

Keep an eye on the hand but don’t take your eye off the other hand either. Something is working out of our sight.

Professional sports has sunk to such a disgusting level that even so-called sports reporters can find nothing more to talk about for the upcoming Super Bowl than to call Tom Brady childish names while picking on his wife and revealing an email she sent to close friends and family. What a slime ball this reporter is. And I think Mrs. Brady better reexamine here “close” friends and “family” and see who was dumb enough to share the email.

I forget who the genius political pundit was who warned us all that leading up to the election the Obama Administration would play games with the unemployment rate so things wouldn’t look so bad. While it is a good thing that supposedly 243,000 people got jobs last month, it’s not a good thing that over 2 million people have just disappeared off the jobless radar – they’ve either given up trying to find a job, or perhaps went to work on their own, etc. Regardless, they are off the unemployment rolls and therefore no longer counted. At this rate by November unemployment numbers should be down to 7% and still the same millions of Americans not working.

Now that only a handful of brainwashed global warming cultist still cling to the lies that the earth is warming, I was hopeful. I was actually look forward to some global warming. Less severe winters, better crop production, lower heating costs, etc. However, now we are being told we are heading into a global cooling trend. I think it’s deja vu all over again.
