Differentiating the Powers

The Complete Works of Flavius Josephus, Book XI, Chapter 3, Sections 1-6

2. Now, in the first year of the king’s reign, Darius feasted those that were about him, and those born in his house, with the rulers of the Medes, and princes of the Persians, and the toparchs of India and Ethiopia, and the generals of the armies of his hundred and twenty-seven provinces. But when they had eaten and drunk to satiety, and abundantly, they every one departed to go to bed at their own houses, and Darius the king went to bed; but after he had rested a little part of the night, he awaked, and not being able to sleep any more, he fell into conversation with the three guards of his body, and promised, that to him who should make an oration about points that he should inquire of, such as should be most agreeable to truth, and to the dictates of wisdom, he would grant it as a reward of his victory, to put on a purple garment, and to drink in cups of gold, and to sleep upon gold, and to have a chariot with bridles of gold, and a head tire of fine linen, and a chain of gold about his neck, and to sit next to himself, on account of his wisdom; “and,” says he, “he shall be called my cousin.” Now when he had promised to give them these gifts, he asked the first of them, “Whether wine was not the strongest?”–the second, “Whether kings were not such?” — and the third, “Whether women were not such? or whether truth was not the strongest of all?” When he had proposed that they should make their inquiries about these problems, he went to rest; but in the morning he sent for his great men, his princes, and toparchs of Persia and Media, and set himself down in the place where he used to give audience, and bid each of the guards of his body to declare what they thought proper concerning the proposed questions, in the hearing of them all.

3. Accordingly, the first of them began to speak of the strength of wine, and demonstrated it thus: “When,” said he,” I am to give my opinion of wine, O you men, I find that it exceeds every thing, by the following indications: It deceives the mind of those that drink it, and reduces that of the king to the same state with that of the orphan, and he who stands in need of a tutor; and erects that of the slave to the boldness of him that is free; and that of the needy becomes like that of the rich man, for it changes and renews the souls of men when it gets into them; and it quenches the sorrow of those that are under calamities, and makes men forget the debts they owe to others, and makes them think themselves to be of all men the richest; it makes them talk of no small things, but of talents, and such other names as become wealthy men only; nay more, it makes them insensible of their commanders, and of their kings, and takes away the remembrance of their friends and companions, for it arms men even against those that are dearest to them, and makes them appear the greatest strangers to them; and when they are become sober, and they have slept out their wine in the night, they arise without knowing any thing they have done in their cups. I take these for signs of power, and by them discover that wine is the strongest and most insuperable of all things.”

4. As soon as the first had given the forementioned demonstrations of the strength of wine, he left off; and the next to him began to speak about the strength of a king, and demonstrated that it was the strongest of all, and more powerful than any thing else that appears to have any force or wisdom. He began his demonstration after the following manner; and said,” They are men who govern all things; they force the earth and the sea to become profitable to them in what they desire, and over these men do kings rule, and over them they have authority. Now those who rule over that animal which is of all the strongest and most powerful, must needs deserve to be esteemed insuperable in power and force. For example, when these kings command their subjects to make wars, and undergo dangers, they are hearkened to; and when they send them against their enemies, their power is so great that they are obeyed. They command men to level mountains, and to pull down walls and towers; nay, when they are commanded to be killed and to kill, they submit to it, that they may not appear to transgress the king’s commands; and when they have conquered, they bring what they have gained in the war to the king. Those also who are not soldiers, but cultivate the ground, and plough it, and when, after they have endured the labor and all the inconveniences of such works of husbandry, they have reaped and gathered in their fruits, they bring tributes to the king; and whatsoever it is which the king says or commands, it is done of necessity, and that without any delay, while he in the mean time is satiated with all sorts of food and pleasures, and sleeps in quiet. He is guarded by such as watch, and such as are, as it were, fixed down to the place through fear; for no one dares leave him, even when he is asleep, nor does any one go away and take care of his own affairs; but he esteems this one thing the only work of necessity, to guard the king, and accordingly to this he wholly addicts himself. How then can it be otherwise, but that it must appear that the king exceeds all in strength, while so great a multitude obeys his injunctions?”

5. Now when this man had held his peace, the third of them, who was Zorobabel, began to instruct them about women, and about truth, who said thus: “Wine is strong, as is the king also, whom all men obey, but women are superior to them in power; for it was a woman that brought the king into the world; and for those that plant the vines and make the wine, they are women who bear them, and bring them up: nor indeed is there any thing which we do not receive from them; for these women weave garments for us, and our household affairs are by their means taken care of, and preserved in safety; nor can we live separate from women. And when we have gotten a great deal of gold and silver, and any other thing that is of great value, and deserving regard, and see a beautiful woman, we leave all these things, and with open mouth fix our eyes upon her countenance, and are willing to forsake what we have, that we may enjoy her beauty, and procure it to ourselves. We also leave father, and mother, and the earth that nourishes us, and frequently forget our dearest friends, for the sake of women; nay, we are so hardy as to lay down our lives for them. But what will chiefly make you take notice of the strength of women is this that follows: Do not we take pains, and endure a great deal of trouble, and that both by land and sea, and when we have procured somewhat as the fruit of our labors, do not we bring them to the women, as to our mistresses, and bestow them upon them? Nay, I once saw the king, who is lord of so many people, smitten on the face by Apame, the daughter of Rabsases Themasius, his concubine, and his diadem taken away from him, and put upon her own head, while he bore it patiently; and when she smiled he smiled, and when she was angry he was sad; and according to the change of her passions, he flattered his wife, and drew her to reconciliation by the great humiliation of himself to her, if at my time he saw her displeased at him.”

6. And when the princes and rulers looked one upon another, he began to speak about truth; and he said, “I have already demonstrated how powerful women are; but both these women themselves, and the king himself, are weaker than truth; for although the earth be large, and the heaven high, and the course of the sun swift, yet are all these moved according to the will of God, who is true and righteous, for which cause we also ought to esteem truth to be the strongest of all things, and that what is unrighteous is of no force against it. Moreover, all things else that have any strength are mortal and short-lived, but truth is a thing that is immortal and eternal. It affords us not indeed such a beauty as will wither away by time, nor such riches as may be taken away by fortune, but righteous rules and laws. It distinguishes them from injustice, and puts what is unrighteous to rebuke.”

Building The Road To Fascism

Revelation 13: 7,8 – And it was given unto him to make war with the Saints, and to overcome them, and power was given him over every kindred, and tongue, and nation.

Therefore all that dwell upon the earth, shall worship him,…”

Satan gives power to the “Beast” that rises up out of the sea. The Beast is described as “having seven heads, and ten horns, and upon his horns were ten crowns…”

This power shall rule the earth for 2 1/2 years. But, take a look. What is being described here?

Fascism – “a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.”

If “all that dwell upon the earth” are going to worship him [Beast/Satan] then all that remain must WANT to worship him. For that to happen, when that time comes, then a fascistic rule must be desired of the people and not necessarily forced on them.

How then, is the road to fascism being paved? Well, it’s right in front of your noses. The symbology is everywhere. You just need to open your eyes to see it.

This is the symbol of Fascism. It’s called Fasces:

Where are very common places that you will find this symbology? And have you ever asked yourself why it would appear in these places? Especially within a country and the government halls that rules over a country said to be found in Truth…a “free” country, where each individual is free to seek Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness?

On the wall where every member of Congress is daily reminded of their role:

This is what most ignorant Americans call the “Statue of Freedom” which adorns the dome of the U.S. Capitol building. I might ask how freedom and fascism exist on the same statue. If you can’t find the fasces, look to the base upon which the statue stands.

The designers and the builders of the Lincoln Memorial decided to place two fasces, one under each hand of Lincoln. Isn’t that a bit strange?

Perhaps carried around in the pockets of millions of “free” Americans every day. E Pluribus Unum = Out of many, one. Hmmm!

Who is this fella?

The fasces show up in many places – so much so we pay no attention to it. I suppose some would call it the boiling frog syndrome. And, because most Americans trust their government, if they took the time to look into why the fasces exists, they will be told a lie and will believe it. Fascism already rules.

If you return back to the top and examine again the definition of Fascism, you and I have some serious questions to ask ourselves – the first one is do we want to lose our individualism and be told what to do, how to live, and what to eat as well as when we can do that?

In the very recent past, many Americans welcomed a more deliberate move toward fascist rule when Barack Obama was elected president. Millions of Americans willingly worshipped the man and welcomed his dictatorial rule. It wasn’t because he was a Democrat.

At present, millions are now doing the same with Donald Trump. Regardless of the wrongs he does, the True Believers will, unwaveringly, follow him and his fascistic ways. It isn’t because he is a Republican.

There is true danger in ceding your individualism over to a centralized authority. Some of us are seeing the results; others willingly remain blinded. In time, a power will emerge, it will rise up out of the “sea” and will cause those that dwell on the earth to worship that power and they will be completely ruled by the dictates of one evil principality.

The road is paved. You’ll walk down it. Dare to get off it.

To Understand: Technology, Artificial Intelligence, The Beast, Bible Prophecy

*Editor’s Note* – A bit over a year ago I wrote the below article, shared it with a couple of family members and then saved it away for good keeping. After watching a video today, one that was posted on this website by everyone’s favorite contributor, Rattler Rider, I thought it was time to take this work out of mothballs and share it.

Please consider reading it, with an open mind of course, and then watching the video that follows. Both have very much in common.

I am guilty of one thing. My imagination is limited as you will see when you watch the video. I think my general thoughts on this issue are worthy of consideration but I am incapable of imagining what technology and “Artificial Intelligence” is, has, and will do to all of us.

Revelation 13:16,17

I’ve been doing some studying/research into these two verses of Scripture and asking Heavenly Father to cause His Spirit of Truth to guide me. Here are some thoughts. First, the two verses as found in the 1599 Geneva Bible:

16 And he made all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads.

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.”

I took some of the words of these two verses and began examining the original Hebrew and Greek text in order to better understand the meaning. Here’s what I have found.

Right, wrong or indifferent, many people have been taught that the “mark of the beast” is perhaps like even a tattoo, showing the number 666 on the forehead or the right hand. Is this accurate? I ask, not to be caught up in unimportant details, however, verse 18 explains about having “wisdom,” which can only come from our Savior and Heavenly Father.

I’m not going to go into a whole lot of detail but I will point out the following:

The “mark” is mostly straightforward. A mark, as from the original Hebrew can mean a “scratch” or an “etching.” It can also mean a “stamp” as in a stamp of servitude. Interesting this mark? It is obvious that such a “mark” is a means of recognition.

The Scripture says that the “Beast” will force everyone (or make every attempt to do so) receive “his mark.” [As to the “Beast,” that identity most likely requires a completely new set of studies. The “Beast” in this context is most commonly recognized as being the “Anti Christ,” and/or the system/conglomeration belonging to and in control of, the Anti Christ/Beast.] I will leave that for the moment.]

This mark will be “in” one of two locations on our bodies. The Scripture says so.

Let’s look at the “in” as used in the Hebrew. It can have more general meaning than what, in modern-day English, we most often refer to as “in.” We might think of “in” as being a precise location – in the eye, or in my ear, or in my hand. However, the Hebrew use of the word (epi) is used in general terms to describe a general place. Understand that I’m not suggesting that the use of this word doesn’t or can’t suggest a specific place, i.e. “on” the right hand or “on” the forehead – it might even mean “in” the hand or “in” the forehead. I’m only stating that the Hebrew term has several meanings and uses, some to include nonspecific places, including “near,” ”beside,” or “touching.”

We now look at the word “hand.” “Cheir” (“C” pronounced as “K”) or “khire” can mean the literal hand. It can also mean power or an instrument of power/authority.

The forehead, as used here, can have indistinct meaning as well. The word “metopon” can, in fact, mean the specific place of the forehead. But it is also used to suggest the face, or anywhere on or near the face.

Interesting.

Before getting a closer look and thoughts about verse 17, let me offer these ideas.

Evidently, the “Beast” is going to require everyone to have his “mark,” either on or near the hand or on or near the face/forehead – and maybe other options (see below).

We don’t know what the mark will be. I might be a tattoo but I doubt it. That would mean probably more people would oppose having a tattoo – for the wrong reasons – put on their face or hand. Think of the notorious murderer Charles Manson who has a tattoo of a Nazi swastika on his forehead. Even though tattoos these days seem to run rampant, it still remains but only in a small percentage of the population.

The “mark” might be a microchip, suggested by many, implanted into our face/forehead or hand/wrist. I might suggest that these implants are done without our knowledge but that seems a bit contrary to what the Scriptures tell us. It appears we will know the purpose of having this “mark,” although we might not know specifically by whom it is administered, therefore I have my doubts that a visible “666” will exist on the forehead or on the hand.

Consider that a “mark” may already exist. Perhaps we already have a “mark” used for buying and selling. I’m talking about our eyes (iris scan) and thumb or fingerprint. In the Hebrew, this idea does not seem contrary to possible translations. Remember, I am approaching the “mark” as a means of identification. For what other purposes might the “Beast” need a “mark?”

Just some thoughts and the reason for them is that I believe it is obvious that we are not going to be asked to do something very radical. We know that over time, the human brain can be manipulated by evil powers to dumb down certain things and that in time (how long?) we could be trained to accept something as radical as a big tattoo, or maybe even a brand from a hot branding iron, the way savages did it with slaves years ago.

I think we are wrongfully taught that all of us will have to have some “stamp” showing 666 on us. The Scriptures don’t tell us that. So let’s look at verse 17, which I discovered something I had never noticed before. Here’s the verse again:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.

Read carefully what the verse says. It says “no man might buy or sell” unless he has the “mark.” The next word is very important. It says “OR.” “…no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark ‘OR’ the name of the beast, ‘OR’ the number of his name.”

Here I see that we might have three choices or that we need one of three identifiable instruments to buy and sell that are approved by “the beast.” What does that mean?

Verse 18 tells us that the number of the beast is the number of a man. We read that in the formation of “The Mysteries” around the same time as the rise of Nimrod and Old Babylon, the number of 666 was given to the original head of “The Mysteries,” – Janus. Janus or E-anush (Chaldee) means “The Man.” The Man was the fabricated false god of the Mysteries. Janus is also the same existence as Saturn. History tells us this. We know how there were so many names to describe the same person which makes the etymology of these languages extremely difficult to follow. (Satan: the author of confusion).

If we now know that the Mysteries gave the number 666 as one of the “mysteries” to the enlightened, as the number that gives title to Janus and that Janus is the same as Saturn, we also know that the Pope outwardly claims, although people choose to put on blinders, to be Saturn himself. If this is Truth and we follow the logical progression, wisdom might tell us that the “number of the man” i.e. 666 is the number of the Pope, the Image of the Anti-Christ. Isn’t it all that makes sense? Or not.

So let’s look again. The Image of the Anti-Christ is the Pope who carries with him the number of a man – 666. Will the Pope and his power structure, which we have been able to examine with the Spirit of Truth, have in place (or already has in place) a system that can be used in order that “small and great, rich and poor, free and bond” might buy and sell, i.e. to be able to eat to live? Readers that don’t understand the expansive power that encompasses the entire Earth by the Vatican, need to get busy and learn all about it. How else, can you recognize who you are choosing to follow?

Will those who are drinking the wine from the Cup of the Whore of Babylon even realize they are willingly taking the “mark” so that they can buy or sell? I doubt very seriously that anything that is part of this controlling instrument to buy and sell will be directly identifiable with the number 666, and yet if you polled the population of the world, are not they already so brainwashed and hung up on 666 that they won’t know it when it happens? They will or might be looking for an easily identifiable 666 and they don’t even know now who controls all the banking in the world. Let he who has wisdom?

Perhaps.

When the time comes, the Image of the Anti-Christ, the Pope, will be consumed by or possessed by, Satan. This is the point in which the “Beast” will cause all those without his “mark,” the instrument to buy and sell, to be killed.

But we need to go back and look again at verse 17. That Scripture tells us that in order to buy and sell, or in other words we must be a follower of the Anti-Christ, we must either have his “mark” OR his “name” or the “number of his name.”

I’m thinking, “What’s in your wallet?”

I might have the mark of the beast right in my wallet right now. I have a bank debit card, with a microchip in it. All banking is controlled by the City of London, which is owned and controlled by the Pope/Vatican, the Image of the Anti-Christ. Is my credit/debit card number, and all associated information stored on this system of banking, “the number of his name?”

We also know that the technology is also being used in which an iris scan is done, or a finger/thumb print scanned, in order to complete a transaction. Nobody identifies any of this as being done by “a number of a man.” We are still looking for the obvious 666.

I’m sure there are holes in this and I’m not saying it’s just exactly how things will and are going to be. I do know that we are very heavily deceived and along with that deception, we have wrongfully been taught certain things that are NOT the Truth. The Jesuits are teaching everywhere. They are doing this to mislead and to distract. How are we going to know when we are following Satan and when we are following the Savior if we don’t recognize and understand what’s going on around us?

Just some ideas to think about…not to obsess.

An Aristocracy Headed by Yahweh, a People of Happiness

*Editor’s Note* – In the historic documents of Flavius Josephus, specifically “The Works of Josephus: Complete and Unabridged,” Book 4 and Chapter 8, Section 2, we find what is written below. As a preamble to this section, I first want to somewhat apologize (although not my work) for how the piece is written, i.e. as one long paragraph. In today’s world, few people can focus long enough to read the below work say nothing about deciphering it and finding understanding. Written work today is presented in short, choppy, sentences and paragraphs to match the manufactured attention spans of most. However, it is of my opinion that there is much knowledge and comparative understanding to gain by reading the below and then rereading it.

“Titus Flavius Josephus born Yosef ben Matityahu was a first-century Romano-Jewish scholar, historian and hagiographer, who was born in Jerusalem” (link). The portion of his work, gathered from ancient historical documents, is presented as translated by William Whiston.

The quote is from Moses. He gathered his congregation to inform them that at the age of 120 it was time to pass the leadership of the Israelites, near the end of their 40-year wanderings in the “wilderness,” on to a successor as appointed by Yahweh – Joshua.

In so doing, he addresses the congregation and explains the only way in which they can find happiness and prosperity. Following this speech, he leaves with the leaders and people, in written form, “suggestions” as to the structure of an aristocratic government, one in which he claims is the one that will work, provided that the leader(s) of the Israelites seeks Yahweh and follows his commands. To do this, and to pass this down to the people, requires amazing leadership, of which cannot ever be found on this earth again.

What this writing gives us, is a partial explanation of how Yahweh’s governmental structure for man works. Looking at modern-day governments, it’s easy to see that man’s governmental structure fails – as any honest historian will tell you.

Throughout this time, and under the direction of Yahweh, no appointment to leadership of any person, beginning with Moses (Joshua), the senators, judges, tribal leaders on down, could hold any office that did not meet the specific and strict requirements of virtue as directed by Yahweh. It must be stated that this “aristocracy” can only work with Yahweh at the head and all others in leadership roles must pass His test. Moses explains to the congregation what will happen to them when they refuse Yahweh’s protectorship.

I have taken the liberty to embolden some of the words in order to help draw your attention to Moses’s words, given to him by Yahweh.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

“O you Israelites and fellow soldiers, who have been partners with me in this long and uneasy journey; since it is now the will of God, and the course of old age, at a hundred and twenty, requires it that I should depart out of this life; and since God has forbidden me to be a patron or an assistant to you in what remains to be done beyond Jordan; I thought it reasonable not to leave off my endeavors even now for your happiness, but to do my utmost to procure for you the eternal enjoyment of good things, and a memorial for myself, when you shall be in the fruition of great plenty and prosperity. Come, therefore, let me suggest to you by what means you may be happy, and may leave an eternal prosperous possession thereof to your children after you, and then let me thus go out of the world; and I cannot but deserve to be believed by you, both on account of the great things I have already done for you, and because, when souls are about to leave the body, they speak with the sincerest freedom. O children of Israel! there is but one source of happiness for all mankind, the favor of God for he alone is able to give good things to those that deserve them, and to deprive those of them that sin against him; towards whom, if you behave yourselves according to his will, and according to what I, who well understand his mind, do exhort you to, you will both be esteemed blessed, and will be admired by all men; and will never come into misfortunes, nor cease to be happy: you will then preserve the possession of the good things you already have, and will quickly obtain those that you are at present in want of, – only do you be obedient to those whom God would have you to follow. Nor do you prefer any other constitution of government before the laws now given you; neither do you disregard that way of Divine worship which you now have, nor change it for any other form: and if you do this, you will be the most courageous of all men, in undergoing the fatigues of war, and will not be easily conquered by any of your enemies; for while God is present with you to assist you, it is to be expected that you will be able to despise the opposition of all mankind; and great rewards of virtue are proposed for you, if you preserve that virtue through your whole lives. Virtue itself is indeed the principal and the first reward, and after that it bestows abundance of others; so that your exercise of virtue towards other men will make your own lives happy, and render you more glorious than foreigners can be, and procure you an undisputed reputation with posterity. These blessings you will be able to obtain, in case you hearken to and observe those laws which, by Divine revelation, I have ordained for you; that is, in case you withal meditate upon the wisdom that is in them. I am going from you myself, rejoicing in the good things you enjoy; and I recommend you to the wise conduct of your law, to the becoming order of your polity, and to the virtues of your commanders, who will take care of what is for your advantage. And that God, who has been till now your Leader, and by whose goodwill I have myself been useful to you, will not put a period now to his providence over you, but as long as you desire to have him your Protector in your pursuits after virtue, so long will you enjoy his care over you. Your high priest also Eleazar, as well as Joshua, with the senate, and chief of your tribes, will go before you, and suggest the best advices to you; by following which advices you will continue to be happy: to whom do you give ear without reluctance, as sensible that all such as know well how to be governed, will also know how to govern, if they be promoted to that authority themselves. And do not you esteem liberty to consist in opposing such directions as your governors think fit to give you for your practice, – as at present indeed you place your liberty in nothing else but abusing your benefactors; which error if you can avoid for the time to come, your affairs will be in a better condition than they have hitherto been. Nor do you ever indulge such a degree of passion in these matters, as you have oftentimes done when you have been very angry at me; for you know that I have been oftener in danger of death from you than from our enemies. What I now put you in mind of, is not done in order to reproach you; for I do not think it proper, now I am going out of the world, to bring this to your remembrance, in order to leave you offended at me, since, at the time when I underwent those hardships from you, I was not angry at you; but I do it in order to make you wiser hereafter, and to teach you that this will be for your security; I mean, that you never be injurious to those that preside over you, even when you are become rich, as you will be to a great degree when you have passed over Jordan, and are in possession of the land of Canaan. Since, when you shall have once proceeded so far by your wealth, as to a contempt and disregard of virtue, you will also forfeit the favor of God; and when you have made him your enemy, you will be beaten in war, and will have the land which you possess taken away again from you by your enemies, and this with great reproaches upon your conduct. You will be scattered over the whole world, and will, as slaves, entirely fill both sea and land; and when once you have had the experience of what I now say, you will repent, and remember the laws you have broken, when it is too late. Whence I would advise you, if you intend to preserve these laws, to leave none of your enemies alive when you have conquered them, but to look upon it as for your advantage to destroy them all, lest, if you permit them to live, you taste of their manners, and thereby corrupt your own proper institutions. I also do further exhort you, to overthrow their altars, and their groves, and whatsoever temples they have among them, and to burn all such, their nation, and their very memory with fire; for by this means alone the safety of your own happy constitution can be firmly secured to you. And in order to prevent your ignorance of virtue, and the degeneracy of your nature into vice, I have also ordained you laws, by Divine suggestion, and a form of government, which are so good, that if you regularly observe them, you will be esteemed of all men the most happy.”

Myths of the “Eastern Puma” Shall Deceive, Even The Elect

Once again it appears many are acting as though “we’re all gonna die,” due to actions by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). The USFWS announced just the other day that a Final Rule had been published that would officially declare the “Eastern Puma” extinct. This action shouldn’t have come as any surprise as it has been in the works for years with the USFWS, by law, providing every opportunity for anyone to get involved in the process and offer comments, opinions, and yes, even an occasional scientific report about the effort.

I was reading from an Online newspaper out of Connecticut about “The Story, The Myth, That Never Dies.” This is, of course, about the ongoing belief that the Eastern Cougar is alive and well. Perpetuated by these illusions are the notions that people see them everywhere; they have proof. American people, with their bred-into-them perversions about animals, want to believe, at all costs, void of even sanity, that wild animals, such as the Eastern mountain lion, are living in their backyards. Maybe it’s a desire, an uncontrolled want to have a spiritual connection with something. Why do people act this way?

When I was a young boy growing up and forced to attend Church and Sunday School several times a week, I heard spoken many things about the Bible. Even at the age of 10, I would ask myself, in a way that only a 10-year-old could ask, “Why would anybody be so stupid to do something like that?”

Here’s an example of what I mean. Often I was subjected to the book of Matthew, Chapter 24, specifically verses 24 – 26. Here it is written where Yeshuah is telling his disciples of things that will happen in the Latter Days. He tells them that there will be false Christs and false prophets, some that will “show great signs and wonders.” He also says that people will tell you to go here and go there for at these places you will find those who do “great signs and wonders,” and that they will “deceive even the elect.” “Don’t go,” He tells them. Don’t be deceived.

And yes, at 10 I asked how could anybody be so stupid. I asked myself those same questions about many prophecies in the Bible. 56 years later, I understand. With an understanding of the animal perversion of Americans, and I suppose most Westerners in general, these people want so badly to believe that when someone tells them there are wild animals in the woods that do amazing things, they blindly and willingly follow. They may never actually see these creatures but they will believe and never give it up.

If Yeshuah told us even the elect will be deceived about false prophets and false messiahs, surely many will be deceived about wild animals and pets, that do amazing things. If the love and care people show their pets and wild animals could be exchanged for love and care of the fellow man, wouldn’t the world we live in be different? Imagine if they put the same effort into getting people to know and understand the real Creator.

With all this in mind, reading the article about the ongoing myths about mountain lions and their existence gives us new meaning.

Today’s Insanity: “Works of the Flesh Are Manifest”

*Editor’s Note* – I continually hear people voice their astonishment of what they are seeing in this country and around the world. It is often described as unbelievable, out of control, disgusting, scary and I regularly call it what it is – insanity. Why is this happening? Paul clearly tells us in the below passage from Galatians 5: 13-26. There is no other explanation.

Galations 5

13 For brethren, ye have been called unto liberty: only use not your liberty as an occasion unto the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, which is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

15 If ye bite and devour one another, take heed lest ye be consumed one of another.

16 Then I say, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary one to another, so that ye cannot do the same things that ye would.

18 And if ye be led by the Spirit, ye are not under the Law.

19 Moreover the works of the flesh are manifest, which are adultery, fornication, uncleanness, wantonness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, debate, emulations, wrath, contentions, seditions, heresies,

21 Envy, murders, drunkenness, gluttony, and such like, whereof I tell you before, as I also have told you before, that they which do such things, shall not inherit the kingdom of God. [emboldening added]

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperancy: against such there is no law.

24 For they that are Christ’s, have crucified the flesh with the affections and the lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vainglory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Blind Stubbornness of the Israelites

We have on occasion seen someone present Scripture stating that if a nation repent and turn from their evil ways Yehwah will heal that nation. This may be the will of Yehwah but there is more to the story that most don’t take the time to explain.

It was under the rule of King Zedekiah when the children of Israel went into bondage of Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon. Prior to that time, Jeremiah, who was the mouthpiece of Yehwah, repeatedly kept telling the leaders and the people that if they did not mend their ways and return to the worship of their True Lord and away from idol worship and living lives of wickedness, they and their cities would be destroyed and sent into bondage under the rule of Nebuchadnezzar. They refused to listen to Jeremiah and in fact many sought to have Jeremiah killed.

In Jeremiah 18: 6-11, we read of the words given to Jeremiah by Yehwah. Often we hear of the promise that if we repent and follow Yehwah, all will be well. However, sometimes we fall short of telling the whole story of what will happen if we remain in our wickedness.

Yehwah places kings and presidents over nations for His purpose to carry out His plans not ours. As His words say below, He will do whatever he wishes of any nation, even to destroy it. But if that nation lives in wickedness and refuses to do the will of Yehwah, the risk is always there that Yehwah will “pluck it up, and to root it out, and to destroy it.”

Part of the lives of the wicked involves corrupt governments, causing harm needlessly against others as well as their own people. It also means the worship of false gods and idols and Pagan worship, hiding behind false beliefs, invoking the name of “god” falsely with corrupt intentions.

The more this country insists to call itself an “exceptional” nation, the greater the risk that it shall fall. There is little exceptionalism to be found in the wickedness of a corrupt government and a perverse people.

O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter, saith the Lord? behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in mine hand, O house of Israel.

I will speak suddenly against a nation, or against a kingdom to pluck it up, and to root it out, and to destroy it.

But if this nation against whom I have pronounced turn from their wickedness, I will repent of the plague that I thought to bring upon them.

And I will speak suddenly concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom to build it and to plant it.

10 But if it do evil in my sight, and hear not my voice, I will repent of the good that I thought to do for them.

11 Speak thou now therefore unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Behold, I prepare a plague for you, and purpose a thing against you: return you therefore every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your works good.

Yehwah Must “Abhorreth” Many

Proverbs 6: 16-19 – “16 ¶ These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, his soul abhorreth seven:

17 The haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and the hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that imagineth wicked enterprises, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and him that raiseth up contentions among brethren.”

When Placing Faith in a King, You Get What You Ask For

Long after the Israelites were led out of bondage in Egypt by Moses, under the direction of Yehwah, and wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, the offspring of Jacob still could not follow the Commandments of their Creator. They had all they ever would need. Yehwah selected one person to be the intermediary, who would ensure that the children of Israel did as they were instructed to do. But they still insisted on doing things their own way, even after years of seeing all the great wonders Yehwah did, which included the vast punishments for their direct disobedience.

Shortly after Yehwah appointed Samuel to lead the people (never a king, only the one to speak directly with God), the people insisted they wanted a king, a man leader, man’s government, like other nations, to rule over them so they could be like other nations. Samuel didn’t like the idea but prayed to Yehwah and asked him what he should do.

Essentially our Creator told Samuel to give them what they wanted. Perhaps they would learn how placing faith and confidence in the rule of man, would lead to their own destruction.

This is what Yehwah told Samuel in I Samuel Chapter 8, versus 11 – 18: 11 And he said, This shall be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: he will take your sons, and appoint them to his chariots, and to be his horsemen, and some shall run before his chariot.

12 Also he will make them his captains over thousands, and captains over fifties, and to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make instruments of war, and the things that serve for his chariots.

13 He will also take your daughters and make them Apothecaries, and Cooks, and Bakers.

14 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your best Olive trees, and give them to his servants.

15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give it to his Eunuchs, and to his servants.

16 And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and the chief of your young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.

17 He will take the tenth of your sheep, and ye shall be his servants.

18 And ye shall cry out at that day, because of your king, whom ye have chosen you, and the Lord will not hear you at that day.”

Sounds about like every government of man (the kings) that is present today in the world.

We Have Brought It Unto Ourselves

*Editor’s Comment* – Recently I was asked by a man why I thought that once great men of God lived to be 600, 700 or more years old. The simple answer was “sin.” But we often cannot and will not recognize sin and it becomes easy to downplay certain sins to pass them off as all part of our progressive lifestyle, as though this would be something that our Creator agrees with. Think again. Perhaps a read through the following verses of Scripture, found at Deuteronomy Chapter 28, beginning at verse 15, (King James Version) will help to understand that “for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.

17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store.

18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

20 The Lord shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

21 The Lord shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

22 The Lord shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

24 The Lord shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

25 The Lord shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

26 And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.

27 The Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.

28 The Lord shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.

31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.

32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.

33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:

34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

35 The Lord shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.

36 The Lord shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.

37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the Lord shall lead thee.

38 Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.

39 Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.

40 Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.

42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.

43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

47 Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

49 The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:

51 And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.

52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the Lord thy God hath given thee.

53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the Lord thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:

54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:

55 So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.

56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

57 And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, The Lord Thy God;

59 Then the Lord will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the Lord bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the Lord thy God.

63 And it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

64 And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

68 And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.
