Trump Lies and Utter Climate Change Nonsense: The World is Insane and You Are Being Duped

Press Release from Sen. Maria Cantwell, ranking member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources:

Cantwell To Trump: Protect Our Planet With The Same Zeal You Protect Your Golf Courses

Washington, D.C. – Today, Ranking Member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) wrote to President Trump about his differing approach to combating climate change as a businessman compared to his positions and actions as a politician.

“Taking measures to protect your own assets from climate change while simultaneously sabotaging our nation’s efforts to do the same is duplicitous and unacceptable,” Senator Cantwell writes. “Today I am asking Donald Trump, the President, to acknowledge what Donald Trump, the businessman–and 97% of the world’s scientists–already know: climate change is real and we must do something about it. If you do that, I am confident we can work together to protect the American people and economy from the fallout associated with climate change with the same zeal you’ve shown for protecting your golf courses.”

According to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), climate change has already resulted in rising sea levels and severe weather events that are occurring more frequently and with greater intensity. They advise that the U.S. needs a national strategy to fight climate change, maximize investments, achieve efficiencies, and better position the government for success. However, Trump’s funding priorities in the FY 2018 budget proposal and changes to federal programs and policies from executive actions will decrease the federal government’s ability to address climate risks and increase taxpayer fiscal exposure.

See the full GAO report comparing Trump’s America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Great Again and the March 28, 2017 Executive Order on Promoting Energy Independence and Economic Growth with GAO’s Limiting The Federal Government’s Fiscal Exposure by Better Managing Climate Change Risks HERE.

“As thousands gather in Washington, D.C., this weekend to express the need to take decisive action to address climate change, I write out of profound concern regarding your recent Executive Orders and directives that recklessly propose to rescind and eliminate policies designed to address the long-term economic costs of carbon pollution,” Senator Cantwell continued.

“This appears to be a fact you have acknowledged, when it comes to protecting your own assets. According to reports, you applied to build a 200,000-ton rock wall to protect one of your golf courses in Europe from, as the application states, “an increase in sea level rise as a result of global warming.”

The full text of the letter can be read below and found here.

Dear Mr. President:

As thousands gather in Washington, D.C., this weekend to express the need to take decisive action to address climate change, I write out of profound concern regarding your recent Executive Orders and directives that recklessly propose to rescind and eliminate policies designed to address the long-term economic costs of carbon pollution. You’ve recognized these costs when it comes to your own business interests; but these same impacts are threatening the American economy.

Data prepared by the Rhodium Group and the World Resources Institute suggest that the policies announced during your first 100 days in office will, by 2025, increase annual U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases by 900 megatons – more than Germany’s total emissions. Your actions will raise annual global emissions by 2%, causing even greater damage.

I was deeply dismayed to learn earlier this spring that, when pressed about the economic impacts of sea level rise and extreme weather, senior White House officials responsible for briefing the contents of your March 28 Executive Order on climate change reflected ignorance of their associated costs.

I was also shocked to hear OMB Director Mulvaney tell a group of reporters that government programs designed to prevent and minimize the impact of climate change are “a waste of [taxpayer] money.”

According to the U.S. Global Change Research Program’s National Climate Assessment, ignoring the threat of climate change will cost U.S. taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars. This is because of the increasing frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, which will grow more costly over time.

This appears to be a fact you have acknowledged, when it comes to protecting your own assets. According to reports, you applied to build a 200,000-ton rock wall to protect one of your golf courses in Europe from, as the application states, “an increase in sea level rise as a result of global warming.”

Out of similar concerns, Senator Collins and I have asked the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to evaluate what it will cost the Federal government to respond to the damage caused by climate change. That analysis is due to be completed this summer, and I strongly suggest you pay attention to its conclusions. The attached analyses compiled by GAO paint a very stark picture.

For example, without mitigation, climate change is expected to cause $5 trillion in damage to coastal properties in the next 75 years. Coastal damage will be one of the largest drivers in federal climate change-related spending—totaling a projected $78 billion by late century just in coastal disaster relief. As you know well, Mar-a-Lago is located on a barrier island off the Florida coast. These are the kinds of locations particularly vulnerable to catastrophic weather events.

But in addition, flood insurance costs are expected to rise. And as the GAO has noted, “the federal government owns and manages facilities and land vulnerable to climate change–DOD alone estimates its property replacement value is close to $850 billion.” Moreover, it’s estimated policies that further delay needed reductions in greenhouse gas emissions will cost our economy $150 billion a year.

Mr. President, the economic impacts of rising sea level and extreme weather are precisely the kind of phenomena that require us to take collective action to address climate change. Taking measures to protect your own assets from climate change while simultaneously sabotaging our nation’s efforts to do the same is duplicitous and unacceptable.

Today I am asking Donald Trump, the President, to acknowledge what Donald Trump, the businessman–and 97% of the world’s scientists–already know: climate change is real and we must do something about it. If you do that, I am confident we can work together to protect the American people and economy from the fallout associated with climate change with the same zeal you’ve shown for protecting your golf courses.

I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Maria Cantwell
United States Senator

Environmentalists Use Photoshop and Fraud to Deceive

“Watts Up With That has a funny instance of warmist deception. You may have seen the headline, I did: Antarctica hits record high temperature at balmy 63.5°F. Where? Base Esperanza. Where is Base Esperanza in relation to what we normally think of as Antarctica? A long, long distance away:”<<<Read More>>>

Of course at least elements of the claims of photoshopping and fraud to promote Environmentalism are true. And yesterday, we learn that non government organizations such as Greenspeace admit their fraud and deception, claiming it to be a matter of “free speech” and expressing of themselves in a “figurative” manner.

“includes telling the court that its claims about Resolute being “forest destroyers,” responsible for a “caribou death spiral and extinction” and myriad other vilifications, were all just marketing hype. “The challenged statements are no more than opinion based on disclosed facts,” Greenpeace International’s lawyers explained in their latest motion to dismiss the RICO suit.”<<<Read More>>>

Coyotes In Maine Might Kill Several Tens of Thousands of Deer Per Year

This is how people are fed “news” these days. I thought I would jump on the band wagon. It doesn’t matter whether or not I can prove this statement. What matters, today anyway, is that I create an outrageous headline that people will run with. Most Internet users don’t read articles. They only consume headlines. It is proven that most users struggle to browse through 141 characters on Twitter.

The dishonest media, driven by the reality that they can’t survive without selling entertainment, figured this out quite awhile ago. That’s why Internet websites such as The Drudge Report do so well. If you haven’t been there before, it’s a one page website that contains mostly manufactured headlines, designed to grab your attention, not to entice you to read the article, but to run away with a headline that effects you and you can, in turn, effect, or perhaps infect, someone else.

Now that I know you haven’t read this article, you still don’t understand my headline.

The Fakers Who Fake Fake News (Propaganda) Trying to Fake Us All

*Editor’s Note* – Missing from this information is the fact that under the Obama Administration, when Congress, both republicans and democrats, passed the National Defense Authorization Act, they granted themselves permission to publish any and all propaganda without fear of any kind of punishment. It is only FAKE that the Senate, in the secrecy of the night, somehow is putting a stop to an act they are and have been doing for a very long time. I see all of this as simply a means to instill fear and further destroy our liberty of free speech. I have said for a very long time that as much of the perceived good we see in the Internet, there does exists those of us who will question and refute the official government narrative. This Government must find a way to stop that. This is one reason for the increase in propaganda about “Fake News.” Please open your eyes! Be aware of EVERYONE promoting and embellishing the “fear” of “Fake News.”

“The witch hunt for “fake news” and “Russian propaganda” has been kicked up a notch, after the House passed a bill quietly tucked inside the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017, designed to crack down on free speech and independent media.”

“It is easy to see how this law, if passed by the Senate and signed by the president, could be used to target, threaten, or eliminate so-called ‘fake news’ websites, a list which has been used to arbitrarily define any website, or blog, that does not share the mainstream media’s proclivity to serve as the Public Relations arm of a given administration,” Global Research reported.”<<<Read More>>>(Note: please be forewarned that when I landed on the linked-to website, my computer was essentially hijacked due to excessive forced advertisement.)

Donald Trump: The “33” Thousand Emails

33A day or two ago, I happened upon part of an interview a news reporter was conducting with Donald Trump. The topic came around to the supposed “release” by Wikileaks of emails “hacked” by “somebody” containing information from the Democratic National Committee that supposedly showed that the nominating process of the Democrat Party was a rigged event.

Why is this a surprise to anybody? Don’t you suppose the Republican nominating process is also rigged? And why not? Both entities are private entities, in which some people choose to think they somehow must adhere to “election laws” of which they don’t know what they are and who they are intended for, if, in fact, they exist.

But that’s not the point of this article. When it was announced that some “hacked” emails had been released, many news outlets reported “nearly” or “as many as” 20,000 emails had been hacked and released. After a time, that number seemed to magically grow to “nearly 30,000” as the Clinton and news media spin machines began telling everyone the Russians did it. If you persist in focusing on “the Russians did it,” you might miss out on who did…and who really cares?

Why didn’t they blame Donald Trump? Isn’t that the likely suspect in the game of fraud of deception? But not this time. Name any other time when, if something like this happened during a campaign, one side would be blaming the other. That’s how the game is played and people, calling themselves voters, think it’s real.

But, back to this interview. When the topic came around to the hacked emails, the reporter wanted to know if Donald Trump was serious when he sarcastically called on the Russians to help Hillary find her missing emails. Evidently one reporter, too stupid to know how to play the game given to him by his leaders, accused Trump of an array of crimes for conspiring with the enemy because of his statement.

In Trump’s response to the accusations, he said he wasn’t serious about asking Russia for help to bring down another corrupt American politician. However, during his response, Trump said, that there were 33,000 emails that got hacked. Why all of a sudden are there 33,000 emails and not around 20,000 or nearly 30,000? He didn’t even say “around 33,000.” He point blank said, “33,000.” Could it be that Donald Trump was announcing to the world who, ultimately, is responsible for the supposed hacking of these emails?

We know from past events, when someone or the media breaks news, they will often initially report that “33 lives have been lost,” or that “it is believed that 33 victims are being held hostage,” etc. 33 is a significant number. Was Donald Trump announcing who is responsible for the hacks? Doesn’t this mean he is also part of the hack? Does it also mean that Hillary was part of the hack? Does all of this mean there really wasn’t a hack?

BUT DON’T GO LOOK! IT’S A SECRET!

Utah officials: Mexican wolf is ‘bullet’ that could destroy West

*Editor’s Note* – It is certainly a rigged system – a system, just as stated, to achieve desired outcomes. Officials hide behind the belief that the Endangered Species Act REQUIRES them to do what they are doing. That is a dishonest statement. Perhaps the ESA requires plans for recovery but those plans should never include fraud and deception to accomplish political goals.

History has taught us nothing, evidently. I wrote extensively in “Wolf: What’s to Misunderstand?” about this rigged system and how lies and more lies were thrust upon the American people in order to manipulate public opinion in favor of dishonest and illegal wolf introduction. Here we are, over 20 years past, and the lying bastards are still filling people full of it.

Leaders in Utah, as well as Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, are attacking the credibility of FWS’s science, alleging it is rigged to improperly include the Four Corners region in the recovery zone for this critically imperiled wolf subspecies. The states also object to the venue for next week’s meeting because it is has hosted meetings of conservation groups.

Abdullah The Hero? Or Just Another Fake ISIS Bombing?

I refuse to play stupid in this as well as blind. Ever since the Obama Administration began supposedly bombing ISIS targets, the only pictures or videos the people have been able to see, shows vacant lots and empty buildings being bombed; never anybody around or even motor vehicles parked or moving about. Why is that? ISIS tipped off, or were they all just out to Dunkin’ Donuts for coffee when the bombing started? Maybe the whole thing is an orchestrated fake. Wouldn’t be the first time.

Probably previous administrations put up the same kind of fake pictures and I just wasn’t paying attention.

And now, Neocons and fascist war mongers are bringing down the roof over Jordan’s King Abdullah for bombing ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq. The U.S. Pentagon says Jordan is lying about bombing in Iraq. I say they all lie. I say the videos that some main stream news outlets are showing on TV are fake. There’s never anybody home and there’s never cars and trucks around or any movement at all. The bombs appear to be just blowing up empty buildings.

Below is a video I found on Youtube but it’s a video containing still pictures, some of which might be supposed ISIS targets the Jordanians have bombed…maybe. The rest is just propaganda.

The cries go out demanding Obama ask Congress to declare war. Odd, I didn’t think the president needed to ask. Let’s get into it. Let’s get ready to rumble. The propaganda on all sides is stirring the masses and growing the hatred. Before you agree to have somebody’s child go shoot and kill other human beings, ask yourself if you really believe the nonsense you are being spoon fed. If you do, then get your gun and do the killing yourself. Don’t send someone else’s kid to do your nasty work.
