Montana Governor Bullock Wants Semiautomatic Gun Ban for America

Op-Ed by Gary Marbut is President of the Montana Shooting Sports Association

Montana – -(AmmoLand.com)- Montana Gov. Steve Bullock’s comments came in response Sunday to a question posed to him on CNN’s State of The Union.

Host Jake Tapper asked Bullock if he would support an “assault weapons ban, a ban on some forms of semiautomatic weapons.”

Bullock answered, “You know, I would, Jake.”

Some people depend for success on being able to fool others – swindlers, con men, fraudsters, and too many political climbers. That applies to Montana’s Governor Steve Bullock (D-Montana) who is term-limited in Montana but now grasping at the straws of national office.

In order to get elected to statewide office in Montana, Bullock had to claim enough support for the Second Amendment to fool some swing voters. If he had not successfully asserted support for gun rights, he would not have been elected to any statewide office in Montana.

We are now informed by Bullock himself that he lied to voters to get elected Governor. He has only as much respect for the Second Amendment and the Constitution as is needed to get elected to the next public office on his quest. With his new aspiration to become President, he has abandoned all pretense of supporting the Second Amendment and conveniently argues for wholesale gun control. Bullock’s only perspective on Montana at this point is through his rear view mirror.<<<Read More>>>

When Guns Are Banned, Criminals Will Get and Make Homemade Weapons

And so will a lot of other people. As well they will keep many weapons is safe places where they can’t be easily found for confiscation.

Laws don’t stop “honest” people. Why do we insist they will stop criminals?

The Right to Live is Supreme…Only If You Are a Liberal

The title above is part of what a California politician was quoted as saying while making his proposal to force everyone to turn in their “assault/military-style weapons” or face mandatory jail sentences.

According to NBC News, Eric Swalwell, a democratic said, “the right to live is supreme over any other.” No, seriously. That’s what the news article says.

Evidently, that “supreme” right is limited therefore it is not supreme. As with everything this country has brainwashed to believe and repeat, like my hate is better than your hate, a “supreme” right to life only applies to those who choose to believe if guns are banned they won’t die. For the rest of us who know better? Well, I guess we can just go to hell!

Maine senators King and Collins back gun sale ban based on terror ‘watch lists’

*Editor’s Note* – Non thinking, unreasonable robots of our demented society may think this a great idea. While it would be ideological to think guns could somehow be kept out of the hands of any criminal, “terrorist” or not, due to the programming of minds in this no longer free nation, few have the capability of understanding about the so-called “terror watch list” or the ramifications of the administering of one.

We are kept in the dark, by design, about any watch list. We do not know, nor will we ever know, who is on it and why, nor what the parameters are that determine who makes a list. Therefore, like everything within a slave, police state, we are supposed to trust Central Government.

But don’t go look!

Maine’s two U.S. senators said Monday that they would support – to varying degrees – a federal law blocking individuals on terrorist “watch lists” from purchasing guns.

House Democrats Introduce Bill to Ban Manufacture of ‘Assault Weapons’

With a total of 91 Democrats pushing the “Assault Weapons Ban of 2015,” it is interesting to note that the New York Times previously reported that the idea of a class of firearms called “assault weapons” is a piece of fiction the Democrats created in the 1990s. In an article titled, “The Assault Weapon Myth,” the NYT explained that Democrats created the phrase “assault weapons” in hopes of stigmatizing an entire category of guns—blaming those guns for rising crime—then banning them.

It’s Time to Ban Guns. Yes, All of Them. | New Republic

*Editor’s Note* – This editor, website, administrator and all associated with TomRemington.com are not responsible for the utter ignorance on display in this opinion piece.

However, this is a classic example of how life in the United States is these days. Forget individual rights. Forget facts in this matter. The tactic is to begin a campaign of lies and propaganda that will eventually shift the conversation to one of possibility. This is not a new concept. It has proven itself on many issues. The basic principle here is that if you tell a lie long enough, the majority of brain dead fools will believe it.

I say this not to win some sort of ideological purity contest, but because banning guns urgently needs to become a rhetorical and conceptual possibility. The national conversation needs to shift from one extreme—an acceptance, ranging from complacent to enthusiastic, of an individual right to own guns—to another, which requires people who are not politicians to speak their minds. And this will only happen if the Americans who are quietly convinced that guns are terrible speak out.

Colleges can’t ban guns, rules Florida court in major 2nd Amendment victory

“The Florida appeals court ruling that the University of North Florida was violating state law when it prohibited a woman from storing a gun in her vehicle while she attended class will spill over to cities and counties statewide, an attorney said Wednesday.

And it’s one of many nationwide where anti-gun activists are trying to do at the local level what they can’t do in the statehouse – restrict Second Amendment rights.”<<<Read More>>>

New World Order of Microstamping and Silver Bullets

Bearing in mind that Kalifornia is the practice model for a new world order under a one world government, the state has finally authorized the implementation of mandatory “microstamping” of handguns. Microstamping is a method of using technology to create a unique “stamp” that is made when a firing pin meets the firing cap end of a cartridge. It’s also something very easy to get around. In other words, it’s a useless piece of legislation unless, of course, the aim here is to ban guns.

Under the guise of being able to “track” guns used in crimes, the action is actually about ending the manufacture and sale of handguns in California. But that’s okay! Just keep telling yourself that government is good for you and they are here to help and protect you.

In addition to the microstamping issue, the totalitarian regime in California is one vote away from implementing a state-wide ban on lead ammunition.
