I know many of you don’t live here in Maine and at this moment,surely wished you did so you could come to the show and vote for me but I just had to share(online votes do NOT count~ you HAVE to come to the show to get your ballet and vote! )!
This is a bulk email,so,for those of you that do not have Facebook and haven’t heard, and do live in Maine(or live out of Maine and WANT to come up lol), and want to vote,by all means PLEASE come to the Maine Sportsman Show in Augusta at the Augusta Civic Center! Bring the whole family and bring friends!! If you don’t want to pay the 8 bucks to get in,you can go online and purchase your tickets for 5 bucks!(

I surely did not really expect a call when I filled out the application,writing the 6 pages I did and as it was last minute and a reminder sent by a friend who ran last year!! Also, as most of the other girls are young,teeny and pretty girls(and what do guys like or drool over??lol) and a couple have degree’s that I cannot match but having 43 plus years of outdoor experience and being a raptor rescuer and volunteer with Avian Haven, surely makes it all worthwhile!!
Even if I do not end up being crowned, I am and will still be a winner (as will all the other girls be that don’t end up being crowned)! Why??Because I LOVE the outdoors as you all know and all that goes with it and I am in a book also and how many can say that~ I will bring the hunting book I was part of with me if you’d like to see that ,some of you have! Its called Hunting Top End Bucks and a great read for any sports person in your life! As most of you know,I can talk,lol…so that’s what I will be doing at the show but I have to also add to my why, that I have lived A good life and mostly, because I tried, by filling out that application and no matter what, will still love and live in the outdoors until the day I die and having a degree does not make anyone better than the next when it comes to truly loving the life I live even in the simplicity of it! I wish us ALL the best of luck here BUT you got to vote and yes,I ask that you vote for MOI! Hehe Just look for the oldest lady there!
We will be on WTOS 105.1 FM on Tuesday 3/24 at 8:00am and on 92Moose and B98.5 on Wednesday 3/25 at 8:00am! Be sure to listen on air or online for chances to win show tickets all week long!

Congratulations on being chosen as a finalist in the 2nd Annual Miss Maine Sportsman Competition!
The State of Maine Sportsman Show is at the Augusta Civic Center, March 27, 1 PM – 7pm, March 28, 9 am- 7 PM and March 29, 9 am – 4 PM. Two weekend passes and two Miss Maine Sportsman shirts for you to wear at the show will be located at the information table on the left inside the main entry doors at the Civic Center.
Finalists are not required to be at the show the entire weekend, however your presence in the booth is recommended so attendees can meet you. Attendance Sunday is mandatory.
The Miss Maine Sportsman booth is the second booth on the left after entering the auditorium. Feel free to bring photos and scrapbooks of outdoor adventures. Keep in mind that display space is limited.
The public will vote for MMS all weekend during the show. Each person can cast one vote per day. Patrons can vote each day they come to the show. Voting takes place at the show only. Facebook likes do no count. Voting ends Sunday, March 29 at 12 PM. A crowning ceremony will take place at 1pm that day.
There is no top 3 in the finalist category. All women are all equally being considered for the MMS crown. I have been made aware of some misinformation and wanted to clarify the information.
Fun pre-show events are coming up. All of you are encouraged to come if you can. Tuesday March 24, at 8 am we are on WTOS 105.1 located at 125 Community Dr Suite 201, Augusta. Kelly and I will be at the station by 7:30 am. Wednesday, March 25, at 8 am we are on 92Moose and B98.5. Both stations are located at 56 Western Avenue #13, Augusta. Kelly and Brittany will be there by 7:30 am also. Last year’s finalists had a lot of fun on the radio representing everything this competition stands for.
Finally, please email me your t-shirt sizes again, so we can order your t-shirts ASAP. I made an error when I was taking down the sizes and now I’m not sure whose sizes are correct. We are still not sure if it will be a woman’s or a man’s fits shirt, so please send both sizes in your message and please include whether or not you will be able to make it to either of the radio interviews.
