Milt’s Corner – “Cranky” Apple Blossoms
May 29, 2013
Woodstock, Maine is in the history books as being that last place in the U.S. to stop using the old fashioned crank telephones. At the time the phones were being taken out, the expression being used regularly was, “Yank the Crank”.
The giant replica of a crank phone sits on the small town common. However, notice the stunning crab apple blossoms on the tree in the background.

Move over Pal! I was here first! Actually, while Milt photographed these two birds, I/we watched them together for quite some time. They really didn’t seemed to be concerned with the presence of each other or were battling for food or territory.

Milt Inman Update
February 27, 2013
Milt Inman’s procedures seemed to go off without any real problems. He is already at home and has instructions to “rest” for a couple of weeks. Is that possible? How do you keep a man like him at rest? Milt thanks everybody for their thoughts and prayers and is anxious to get back to being…….well, Milt again.
Say A Little Prayer…..or a Big One
February 24, 2013
Milt Inman, my dear friend and famous here for his photography, goes back in the hospital tomorrow morning for another heart or artery catheterization. This will be his second one in as many years. Almost a routine procedure these days but I’d like to ask all readers to take a moment and send up a prayer that all will go well so he and I can once again head for the woods, fields and streams to do some photography, hunting, fishing and just enjoying the outside. Thank you.
