The below photograph shows a sign that is found in Maine on I-295. The Department of Transportation says the sign is intended to be both “humorous” and to remind people to slow down.

My perspective is most definitely different than most. If you take the name “Santa” and swap just two letters around, the word quickly becomes “Satan.” With the added, slightly blurred image, just to the left of the traffic sign, we can easily lose the image of Santa, replace it with Satan and then ask the question as to who, precisely, “sees you when your ‘speeding'” and who “knows if you’ve been bad or good.” More than likely this image can be updated next Christmas that shows one of the newly selected president. Time will tell.
