Flu Shot Remains Most Dangerous Vaccine

The Department of Justice issues a report on vaccine injuries and deaths every quarter to the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (Click on “Meeting Book – PDF – 10.8 MB” for September 3rd meeting). There are 211 cases for vaccine injuries and deaths for the period 5/16/2015 through 8/15/2015.

86 of the settlements were listed in this report, giving the name of the vaccines, the injury, and the amount of time the case was pending before settlement. Three of those settlements were for deaths linked to vaccines, with two deaths related to the flu shot, and one death for the HPV shot. 65 of the 86 settlements were for injuries and deaths due to the flu shot, and the majority of flu shot injuries were for Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS).

How deadly moose really are in Maine, in 4 charts

But the truth is that you’re more likely to die in a car crash by veering outside the yellow or white lines than by hitting a moose. Only about one person per year dies in a moose crash, while 108 die in what the Maine Department of Transportation describes as “lane departures.” That’s when a vehicle crashes head-on with another or goes off the road. In total, about 150 people each year die in all car crashes.

Percentage of Maine’s “Big Bucks” Continues to Decline

Below is s copy of a chart that is created each year by a good friend of mine. Since 1999 it shows the annual deer harvest, as provided by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. The chart makes several comparisons, as you can see.

Once the deer harvest numbers are official, this chart compares the current harvest numbers with past years’ as a percentage of the deer harvest in 1999. The number of “Big Bucks” harvested and reported (200 lb. minimum), as obtained from the Maine Sportsman Magazine, is shown. From there, several comparisons by percentage are shown. These comparisons are based on the 2000 numbers as they are the highest reported during this 15-years span.

As you should be able to tell, the percentage of Big Bucks harvested, compared to the total deer harvest, since 2000, has been mostly on a steady decline. Obviously with a reduced harvest one would expect the total number of Big Bucks to also be reduced. But what is troubling is that the decline of Big Bucks is not proportional to the overall harvest.

But what does that tell us? The obvious would be to state that there appears to be an age structure shift in Maine’s deer herd. And what causes a change in age could be one of several things and/or a combination of them. Without all the data, my ideas would be nothing but guesses. It could be nothing more than a corrective shift downward in age to bring the herd in line with management goals, or it could be at the other end where there are just too many Big Bucks that have been and repeatedly get taken each year…but I doubt that. It is possible that in addition to a reduced overall deer population in Maine, there’s also been a loss in natural foods and nutrients that cause deer to grow large in body mass. Or, the Big Bucks are being harassed by predators prohibiting normal weight gain.

But here’s a question and something to think about. One might wonder if it is a natural phenomenon that during a period when a deer herd is shrinking, the percentage of Big Bucks would not necessarily mirror that of the overall herd? If that were true, then can we surmise that as the herd grows in numbers, the percentage of Big Bucks increases as well? My pea brain logic would tell me the exact opposite. But hell, what do I know?

Note: On the above chart please notice that the deer harvest for 2014 is an estimate. When the official number is made available, hopefully this year, I’ll post the correction.

Background Checks: Waste of Tax Payer’s Money or Obama’s Big Stimulus?

According to CNS News, since president Obama took office in 2009, the FBI has averaged 32 background checks for gun purchases per minute. That’s 70,291,049 guns purchased (or background checks made) and doesn’t count for private sales, etc.

So, this leaves several questions. Are people that frightened of Obama that they have ramped up guns and ammunition purchases? Is this the President’s backdoor stimulus, perhaps the only real thing that has prospered since he took office? (Oh, those bitter people clinging to their guns and Bibles.) Is using up the manpower of the FBI to conduct 32 background checks for gun purchases a minute a waste of resources and money? What does background checks accomplish? No really! What do they accomplish?

Day 52 – No Executive Orders

OBLOQUY!

It is now Day 52 and still we find no executive orders on gun control posted on the White House website.

There are two things I would like readers to bear in mind. The first should be a constant reminder that disarming the American citizens is the last step in the complete overthrow of our country as we all know it. All aspects of American life have long ago left any semblance of republicanism behind and we see even democracy being replaced in rapid pace by totalitarianism and the push toward dictatorial reign. While all the infrastructure is mostly in place to administer a despotic takeover, the reality of millions and millions of guns in the hands of American citizens is a frightening prospect to those wanting a submissive people.

With that in mind, please also consider that I strongly believe that the ruling elite, yes, those seeking that long-planned New World Order under a One World Government will figure out a way to get Americans’ guns, even if it takes small incremental steps AND executive orders.

For 52 days I have dumped on President Obama for his Kabuki Theater, his dog and pony show, when he staged a fake event in which he used his puppeteers in the media to play along, that he was signing 23 executive orders to control guns. What President Obama actually presented to the people were 23 basic ideas of what he would like to see happen to implement his dictatorial takeover of our guns…..without any details.

We await the enumeration of those executive orders. And while we have waited, I have hinted that perhaps we would never see any executive orders and if we did they would come in the dark of night. I may still be accurate in that assessment. But consider the following information contained in an article written by Reid J. Epstein and published on Politico titled, How the White House silenced gun control groups.

Epstein’s thesis is that Barack Obama has cunningly orchestrated the unification of gun control advocate groups and individuals, including loud-mouthed politicians, into silence and a blind obedience to follow and support whatever the White House has planned for gun control laws.

Let me first say that there is no doubt in my mind that Barack Obama does not have the mental capacity nor the ambition it would require to pull something like this off. Nor does he have the political clout. However, that isn’t to say that there doesn’t exists powers much mightier than Barack Obama and his administration; that is those powers that want American’s disarmed more than anything else in this world, who have the global supremacy to manipulate these affairs as are suggested by Reid Epstein.

If anything in Epstein’s article is true, then consider some of his opening comments:

The implied rules, according to conversations with many of those involved: No infighting. No second-guessing in the press. Support whatever the president and Vice President Joe Biden propose. And most of all, don’t make waves or get ahead of the White House.

In exchange: a voice in the discussions, a role in whatever final agreement is made and weekly meetings at the White House with Biden’s chief of staff, Bruce Reed — provided they don’t discuss what happens there.

If there is someone forcing the actions here that is actually giving these anti-gun zealots access to the White House and a voice on what gets included in gun control issues, then perhaps we are seeing one of the reasons we have not realized any details of executive orders posted on the White House website.

I have said that perhaps President Obama didn’t want to publish the details of his executive orders in order to hide them from the public. That may still be true but then again, maybe it is the culminating of this effort of suppressing the actions of anti-gun groups, while amassing their recommendations on exactly how to pull off the 23 executive orders, that is holding up the finer details of President Obama’s executive orders.

Perhaps it’s the bigger plan to introduce the 23 executive orders (ideas), meeting with all anti-gun stakeholders, amass their plans and ideas, mesh them into Obama’s 23 notions and then begin implementation of the executive orders, while circumventing the Congress. Any additional anti-gun laws passed in Congress would just be a bonus. Also consider that the debate in Congress presently underway over “universal background checks,” may be just a diversionary tactic.

And while this is going on, John Hinderaker gives readers an explanation of how the old adage, statistics prove that statistics can prove anything, comes into play in our being subjected to “studies” that “show”. Studies, for the most part, are nothing more than contrived propaganda whose purpose is nothing more than to persuade public thought and effect change.

Two communists, Sen. Patrick Leahy from Vermont and Sen. Susan Collins from Maine, show us the art of compromise, the result of which is more and more destruction of Second Amendment rights. Hey, the brainwashing machination has effectively convinced Americans that the only way to get anything done, as if doing nothing is such a bad thing, is to COMPROMISE! Such an evil word.

2012 Maine Deer Harvest Statistics

You will notice on the below chart the question being asked if big bucks in Maine are beginning to make a comeback. While the data presented indicate an increase in the number of 200-pound and greater bucks taken as a percentage of the total harvest, one should probably not jump to too many conclusions. Bucks’ weight is determined by many things, as has been historically, in which we will see small fluctuations up and down. There’s always the possibility as well that a larger size buck, if it relates to a slightly older or more mature deer, may be an indication of an aging deer population which may not be such a good thing.

However, a slight uptick in deer harvest and percentage of large bucks taken, generally speaking and all factors relative, can be taken as probably positive signs.
