EARTHQUAKE? But What About the Wolves and Bunnies?

Luke 21:11 – “And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.”

The Word of God said that there would come a day, “in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” (Luke 21:6) The Apostles wanted to know what things they could look for that might give them an indication as to when Christ would return. His answer to them was, in part, Luke 21:11.

He said that nation would rise against nation and there would be wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes in many different places in which would usher in the Second Coming of Christ. Christ said not “to be terrified,” that “these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.” (Luke 21:9) – meaning soon thereafter.

I also don’t find in God’s word that the earth will be destroyed. However, some think so. Infowars is pushing the eminent destruction of a good part of the United States “when” an eruption 2,000 times more destructive than Mt. St. Helens, blows up Yellowstone.

We have seen a dramatic spike in global seismic activity that is unlike anything that we have seen in ages, and that is why what is going on at Yellowstone is so incredibly alarming.  Geologists tell us that a full-blown eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano would have up to 2,000 times the power of the Mount St. Helens volcanic eruption of 1980, and approximately two-thirds of the country would immediately become uninhabitable.

Certainly not impossible, that’s for sure. This may be one of those things in which we should not be terrified but to understand that they first must happen, “but the end is not by and by.”

As I was reading the article and thinking about the possibility of such destruction (and certainly not terrified) I wondered of the perverted minds of those so wickedly in love with wolves and animals in general, disparaging the worth of man. Surely such minds would prefer the destruction of men over animals, so what then will become their mind set should such an event occur?

Some of these people have given their whole lives to save the wolves, save the bears, etc. Perhaps their efforts could be better channeled. Many, who see places like Yellowstone Park, a man-infiltrated exploitation of God’s natural resources, as a good thing, and others work feverishly to prohibit man’s use of God’s natural resources, should understand one thing. They may believe they can control these places and manipulate the minds of others toward perverse animal behavior but the power of The Creator surpasses all of man’s understanding.

Long Invisible, Research Shows Volcanic CO2 Levels Are Staggering

How much carbon dioxide actually comes from volcanoes?

In 1992, it was thought that volcanic degassing released something like 100 million tons of CO2 each year. Around the turn of the millennium, this figure was getting closer to 200. The most recent estimate, releasedthis February, comes from a team led by Mike Burton, of the Italian National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology – and it’s just shy of 600 million tons. It caps a staggering trend: A six-fold increase in just two decades.
