Hunters and fishermen from all over are always hearing tales about their sport. When you get a bunch of hunters gathered, the deer they saw is never quite as big as the one in the next story and we all know that when fishermen gather, the first one tells a lie and all the rest swear it’s true.
In 1957 as the story goes, William “Billy” Parker, went bear hunting with some friends, some family and his dogs. The dogs treed a bear and Billy took a shot at the bear with his brand new shot gun. That pissed off the bear, who decended the tree to take on the dogs. The bear had never met William “Billy” Parker before.
