Michigan Youth Hunting Bill Stalls

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A Bill in the Michigan Congress has stalled in part because of the hunting accident involving Vice President Dick Cheney. A Bill that would lower the mininum hunting age for big game from 14 to 12 and for small game from 12 to 10, is now on hold. Some lawmakers are rethinking their stance on this Bill following the hunting mishap in Texas.

Some Michigan lawmakers say the support is still there to pass the Bill, it has just been slowed down to give people a chance to rethink it.
