Utah House Approves Bill To Lower Hunting Age

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Utah House of Representatives has approved two bills that would lower the minimum age of hunting in that state. One bill would lower the age from 14 to 12 to hunt big game and the other will eliminate completely the minimum age to hunt small game. In either case, the hunter needs to successfully complete the required hunter safety course. The two bills now head for the Senate for approval.
