The Hillsborough Township Wildlife Commission has recommended that an additional 600 acres of township owned land be opened to deer hunting this 2006-2007 season. It also recommends increasing the number of hunters who can access this land for hunting from 37 to 44. Here is a list of affected areas.
Twenty-nine acres off River Road (Old Main Road) with bow hunting only, two permits allowed. Forty-three acres off Surrey Drive, Mulford Lane and South Woods Road with bow hunting only, two permits allowed. Twelve acres off River Road and Norz Drive with bow hunting only, one permit allowed. Thirty acres off Horeshoe Drive with bow hunting only, two permits allowed.
