Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A male and female pair of mating Mexican gray wolves have both now been destroyed. The male was killed in June by the wolf recovery team and now the female has. Both were killing livestock.

The wolves are part of the Mexican gray wolf project to reintroduce the wolf back to the regions of Arizona. The wolf thrives in Mexico. As with any predator introduction program there is controversy. The Arizona Daily Star has more on this story.
