But why would they do that? Are they not listening to the anti gun advocates who say that adding guns to schools will not make the kids any safer? The School Board is, however, seemingly listening to the parents who say they want access into the school buildings limited and more armed guards on duty at their schools.
We learned today of at least one instance where a shooter at a middle school in Atlanta was thwarted by an armed, on-duty guard.
But here’s the reality. While people may have demands, and in this case perhaps the school board will listen to the demands of the parents and offer some protection within the school, government and the robots that support it, will continue to demand the disarming of the general public. You’ll not find government, generally speaking, pushing back against calls for armed police in schools. The goal of the federal government and probably state governments in at least some cases, is to disarm the people and make sure the only ones with guns are the military and cops. That’s a real threat from tyranny, in case you didn’t know.
