Day 83 – No Executive Orders

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

MISREPRESENTATION!

83 days and nothing has been posted on the White House website about 23 executive orders on gun rights/gun control. But not to fear. I’m sure the President was deep in thought and planning during his rounds of golf over the past two weekends.

Big Sis Lies Again – Puts Border Patrol at Risk

Is it not enough that Big Sis lies to lawmakers and Americans and tells them she’s saving money by purchasing ammunition for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in bulk? Here’s the latest from Janet Napolitano. In an email sent from DHS to the Border Patrol, DHS tells agents Big Sis has a shortage of ammo and therefore cannot use extra ammunition for proficiency training.

Enforcement Personnel,

Due to budget concerns and ammunition availability, we will not be getting issued any proficiency ammunition for next quarter. In addition to these reductions, we are also being limited to qualification ammo only. What this means to you is that you will not receive the normal 150 rounds for practice and we will not have any extra ammunition for a combat course following normal qualifications.

If you have the ammunition available and would like extra practice during your qualification day, the firearms instructors will have a training course available for Indio Station Personnel, keeping in mind basic marksmanship skills as well as tactical training with a limited amount of ammunition. You are not required to bring your own ammunition.

If you do not have extra ammo to bring, you will be given extra time to clean and maintain your issued handgun as well as station long arms.

If you have any questions about this quarters (sic) quals please feel free to send me your concerns.

There are some estimates that calculate DHS has purchased in excess of 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition in the past few months; enough ammo to carry out a 40-year war by some estimates.

Is this a scare tactic or more accurately, putting in harms way border patrol agents as a means of playing politics with sequestration? Or perhaps Big Sis is withholding all that ammo for something planned that only the Obama Administration knows about. She has 2,700 plus tanks too.

For an administration that promised to be the most transparent in history, when they consistently and persistently take the time for dog and pony shows, like the fake signing of executive orders and addictive lying, why should there exist an ounce of trust between the American people and this corrupt administration?

Long Lines to Buy Ammo

At a gun show over the weekend in Kalifornia, lines formed for hours of people waiting just to buy ammunition. In Texas, like much of the U.S., ammunition is difficult to purchase anywhere. It is even effecting law enforcement training and qualification.

And gun and ammo manufacturers say they are making ammo as fast as they possibly can.

Who’s The Best Gun Rights Supporters?

According to the Wall Street Journal, all the hoopla about making access and ownership to guns more restrictive, states proposing and passing bills to ease restrictions on guns far outweigh anti gun legislation. But most wouldn’t know that because the biased media works very hard to ensure that we don’t get any truth – only a perpetuation of anti gun hatred. Thank you WSJ for revealing this information.

John McCain Dumb as a Fox

My advice to readers is to pay little attention to what the media wants you to hear or read that Sen. John McCain says. It is seldom the truth or at least the truth with any real outward meaning. According to a report from The Hill, McCain says he doesn’t understand the threats coming from within his own party to filibuster the Senate anti gun bill.

“What are we afraid of? Why would we not want… if this issue is as important as all of us think it is, why not take it to one of the world’s greatest deliberative bodies – that’s one of the greatest exaggerations in history by the way – but you know why not take it up, an amendment and debate. The American people will profit from it,”

McCain may be a master at saying what the people want to hear in order to appear as though he was looking out for their best interest, while doing everything he can to fulfill his own mission. Examine the words he chooses – “world’s greatest deliberative bodies” (meaning both the House and Senate); “What are we afraid of?”; “The American people will profit from it.”

Some form of an anti rights gun bill will come out of the Senate but it is quite certain to fail in the House and McCain knows that. McCain fears for any power he may lose through filibuster powers and the fact that it appears his outdated crony republican party is on the way out. This must be troubling, not only to him, but for the Council of Foreign Relations, among other entities, that might be fearing the loss of McCain’s power and influence. He needs all the help he can get and will resort to saying things that mean little concerning issues but has everything to do with retaining his power.
