McFadden Louis T. McFadden, July 25, 1876 – October 1, 1936, member of the U.S. House of Representatives, was murdered because he opposed the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank and publicly attempted to expose the fraud behind it. He also tried to impeach President J. Edgar Hoover.
