Part of the blindness that people of the world, including those in this country, experience is the belief that in order to correct the problems, many of which are rooted in politics, is to be a part of those politics. For those who trust in the Word of God, Yeshua tells us repeatedly to not be a part of this world, to separate ourselves from it. We are also instructed to expose the evil that exists.
If you and I were to be honest with ourselves (taking off the blinders) we can see that in our lifetime, and that of history should we decide to research it, regardless of the efforts as individuals we made to participate in the election process, nothing changes. As a matter of fact, it gets worse. This government of the world and the governments around the world remain corrupt. Most of us do, however, work very hard at convincing ourselves that our involvement and the person we voted for was better or made some changes we might like, but in reality nothing changes. It doesn’t change because the change sought for is of this world and not our Creator – Yeshua.
There is only one real change and it cannot be found by following man.
Corinthians, Chapter 6, holds the Truths of how those things which are of Christ cannot be a part of those things which are not. Verse 17, therefore tells us to: “Wherefore come out from among them, and separate yourselves, saith the Lord, and touch none unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
In the first Chapter of the Epistle of Jude, we are taught that in this world there are “mockers” of the Word of God. These have made the choice to separate themselves from Yeshua and His Holy Spirit. We are therefore told in verses 20, 21: “…edify yourselves in your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost. 21 And keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, unto eternal life.”
Romans 12 teaches that in order to separate ourselves from the evils of the world we must: “…fashion not yourselves like unto this world, but be ye changed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God is.”
No place in His Word does he instruct his followers to abide in the world and be a part of the World. He tells us that for now we must live in this world, exposed to the evils of it, but we cannot change the world by playing by their rules.
1 John Chapter 2 speaks to us about our blindness, the darkness that keeps us from His Truth. That darkness is sin. Verses 15 – 17 tell us of the only way to escape the darkness: “15Love not this world, neither the things that are in this world. If any man love this world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in this world, (as the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) is not of the Father, but is of this world. 17 And this world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that fulfilleth the will of God, abideth ever.”
I have written many times of the powers of darkness that affront us every day of our lives. Ephesians 6:12 says, “12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, and against the worldly governors, the princes of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, which are in the high places.”
It may not be easy to wrestle against “principalities, against powers, worldly governors, spiritual wickedness and princes of the darkness,” but there is certainty that seeking the changes we want in our life are NOT going to come by being a part of it. The evil of this world is a rigged system.
Revelations warns us of what is to be should we choose to be a part of and worship the “Whore” of “Babylon.” The Whore and the city will be destroyed. Verse 4 says: “4 And I heard another voice from heaven say, Go out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
As always, the choice is ours. Unlike man’s government, Yeshua forever gave us the will to choose. We can continue to be a part of the False Prophet, the Lamb that speaks like a Lion. We can pretend that if we just become more a part of man’s evil government, we can make the changes we want. But we can’t. The Truth in Yeshua is the only way to end this utter and destructive nonsense. Should we all choose God’s way, He will take care of those changes we seek.
His promise: 2 Chronicles 7:14: “14 If my people, among whom my Name is called upon, do humble themselves, and pray and seek my presence, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear in heaven and be merciful to their sin, and will heal their land.”
Continuing the proclamation that the United States of America is God’s land, while sowing the seeds of evil, will never persist. Those who make this claim are liars. We cannot serve two both God and Mammon.
