Men Were Created Exactly Like Angels

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In the Complete Book of Enoch – Book 3 – Chapter 1 – Birth of Noah, we can read some extremely interesting information. Enoch is writing about how his son Methuselah chose a wife for his own son, Lamech. Through that marriage was born Noah. We all know about Noah and the Great Flood. But how many of us know about the events around Noah’s birth?

Beginning with verse 2, we read: (Describing Noah) “And his body was white as snow and red as the blooming of a rose, and the hair of his head and his long locks were white as wool, and his eyes beautiful. And when he opened his eyes, he lighted up the whole house like the sun, and the whole house was very bright.”

Verse 3 – “And thereupon he arose in the hands of the midwife, opened his mouth, and conversed with the Lord of righteousness.”

When Noah’s father, Lamech, saw this he ran in fear to his father Methuselah, who in turn went to speak with his father Enoch.

The first time I read this, I thought Noah must have been born an albino, but after further study, I have found this is not true. So why was Noah born looking different from others?

Further on we read that when Methuselah found Enoch, in verse 10 Methuselah further describes to his father, Enoch, about the appearance of Noah: “…the like of whom there is none, and his nature is not like man’s nature, and the color of his body is whiter than snow and redder than the bloom of a rose, and the hair of his head is whiter than white wool, and his eyes are like rays of the sun, and he opened his eyes and there upon lighted up the whole house.”

Verse 11: “And he arose in the hands of the midwife, and opened his mouth and blessed the Lord of heaven.”

I can imagine why Lamech would be scared of what had been given him for a son. Understand what is written here. When Noah was born, not only was his skin “whiter than snow” and “redder than the bloom of a rose,” but his hair, being “whiter than wool,” had long locks. This certainly does not describe any new born baby I’ve ever seen. But understand further. Noah stood up at birth and spoke words and blessed the “Lord of heaven.”

What does this all mean?

We can learn from the reading of many of the other “Hidden Scriptures” that certain events were more detailed than the canonical Scriptures give us and than what we have been taught in the Churches throughout the world. For example, the birth of Jesus Christ did not happen in the manger of a stable in Bethlehem but in an underground cave somewhere between Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

When shepherds and others came to the cave where the Christ child was born, the baby Jesus stood up and talked with many of those visitors. It was later, approximately 5 to 8 days after the birth, that Mary and Joseph took the baby and went on to Bethlehem where, because there were no rooms at the inn, stayed in the stable. In the stable is where the “Wise Men” visited and they too were astonished to witness the 5-day-old infant walking and talking with them.

In Genesis 1, verses 26 and 27 we read of God’s creation of man: “Let us make man in ourĀ image according to our likeness…”

“Thus God created the man in his image: in the image of God created he him: he created themĀ male and female.”

Readers need be made aware that it wasn’t until AFTER the sin in the Garden and Adam and Eve were booted out that that their “image” and “likeness” of who they were fashioned after began to change. God created all of us “as angels” but our sin changed our nature and our appearance.

In the Complete Book of Enoch – Book 3 – Chapter 4 – Secrets of the Parables – We read the following: (Enoch is revealing to his son Methuselah the secrets of the Parables of which Enoch was shown in a vision) “For men were created exactly like the angels, to the intent that they should continue pure and righteous, and death, which destroys everything, could not have taken hold of them but through this their knowledge they are perishing, and through this power it is consuming men.”

It was known before Noah was born that God was going to destroy the world with a Great Flood. God knew Noah would be the man and thus the reason for him being born “created exactly like the angels” in order that he could carry out the task of building an ark to save his seed and two of every kind of animal.

I do not believe that Noah was born an albino but was born more to resemble the likeness of our creation…i.e. that “men were created exactly like the angels.” It is our sin that has caused us to be trapped in this fleshly existence of darkness limiting us in our communion with our Creator and having understanding of the Mysteries of Heaven.
