Glyphosate Contaminants In Processed Brand Name Foods

Glyphosate is the main chemical active in several brands of agricultural and corporate farming herbicides used in the growing fields; in GMO seed crop cultures; and in what’s called “preharvest staging” [1]. That’s when the herbicide is sprayed several days [3 to 5 days] prior to crop harvest to “ensure” seed heads mature evenly. Some consider that process acts as a “desiccant.”

The more commonly-used herbicide is Roundup® manufactured by Monsanto. In GMO farming, there is Roundup Ready® seeds, which are totally different from heirloom or non-GMO seeds. One specific difference is GMO seeds have patents on them, meaning something has been done to modify the seed from the parent or original plant strain produced by Nature.<<<Read More>>>

Glyphosate Spraying Killing Whitetail Deer in New Brunswick

KJIPUKTUK (Halifax) — The Halifax Media Co-op has acquired a series of internal communications from New Brunswick’s Department of Natural Resources that comprise literally hundreds of pages of emails related to newly-retired, whistle blowing, provincial deer biologist Rod Cumberland.

These communications are interesting for a variety of reasons, the least of which because they provide an insight into the manner that the bureaucratic machine in New Brunswick is very much linked into streamlining their publicly-presented message with their counterparts in industry, in particular with the efforts of J.D. Irving.

Whistle-blowing scientists take note: Never underestimate your ability to send your former employer into reaction mode, with all the bureaucratic and corporate cooperation and message massaging that that entails.

Upon his retirement in 2013, Cumberland, with early assistance from the Conservation Council of New Brunswick, began to publicly rail against the effects of New Brunswick’s glyphosate application program, whereby, since the 1970s, an estimated 12,000 – 15,000 hectares of Crown land are sprayed with the herbicide per year. Glyphosate mixtures are applied to Crown land in order to eliminate hardwood tree species and select for softwoods, which are then largely used for pulp. Readers may be more familiar with agricultural applications of glyphosate, where it is consistently among the most highly used herbicides in North America.

Cumberland’s wedge issue was that glyphosate spraying in New Brunswick is responsible for the province’s dwindling white-tailed deer population, as it destroys their food supplies. He has, however, continuously highlighted the scientifically-proven detrimental health impacts of exposure to glyphosate mixtures, and has gone so far as to liken the future health-related fall-out from glyphosate applications in New Brunswick to “this generation’s Agent Orange.”<<<Read the Rest of Part I>>><<<Part II Can be Found Here…and there’s a link at the bottom of Part I for Part II.>>>

Eat Some “Roundup” Honey, Honey

“Documents obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) reveal, for example, that glyphosate residue was found in all of the honey samples tested by the FDA – even honey marketed as being “100% all-natural.” Some of the samples contained twice the European Union’s allowable amount of glyphosate residue, and there is no allowable limit for glyphosate in honey produced in the U.S. – at least not yet.”<<<Read More>>>

The FDA says glyphosate is nothing to be concerned about and that it is harmless to humans. Except it makes your pubic hair fall out….or something.

The Scotts Co. and Monsanto Co.; Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for Determination of Nonregulated Status of Glyphosate-Resistant Creeping Bentgrass

*Editor’s Note* – For those who don’t know, chemical companies have figured a way to genetically manipulate food crops in order to not be effected by Round Up (glyphosate). Once genetically engineered, Round Up is sprayed on crops to kill weeds that hinder growth. Much of the food you are eating is impregnated with Round Up. In reading the below petition, one has to wonder what other toxic poisons these murdering bastards plan for us.

SUMMARY: We are announcing that the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service intends to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) to evaluate the environmental impacts that may result from the approval of a new petition for nonregulated status of glyphosate-resistant creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera L.) (event ASR368) from The Scotts Company and Monsanto Company following withdrawal of their 2003 petition. Issues to be addressed in the EIS include the potential environmental impacts to managed natural and non-agricultural lands, agricultural production systems, the physical environment, biological resources, human health, socioeconomics, federally listed threatened or endangered species, and cultural or historic resources. This notice of intent (NOI) replaces a previous NOI published in September 2004 and initiates a fresh public scoping process and stakeholder engagement for the purpose of preparing an EIS. We are requesting public comments to further frame the scope of the issues to be included in the EIS, including alternatives and environmental impacts.<<<Read More>>>

Lies About Climate Change to Cover Up Lies About Human Manipulated Food

I don’t believe people will ever get it. They don’t want to. They are just programmed to disregard truth and above all things believe The Government.

While crooked liars, thieves and tramps tell us that climate change is going to destroy our crops, as well as our meat, the truth is that man is destroying those foods and meats already with chemicals and genetic manipulation.

Forget the truth of history, if you choose, but it does tell us that in historic times of global warming, food shortages were rare. Humans ate well and prospered. We are being told we’re all going to die, that food will not grow, it will taste bad and be difficult to eat.

So long as people like Al Gore, who is making gobs of money off our blind willful ignorance, can promote his lies about climate change, he and his buddies will continue to destroy humans, kill our forests and fields, manipulate our crops with chemicals and genetics and riddle humans with disease.

Will you be the first to willfully make the ultimate sacrifice for Al Gore?

Feds to Ban Kids’ Soft Plastic Toys for No Good Reason

Press Release from the National Center for Public Policy Research:

Consumer Product Safety Commission Fails to Adhere to Guidelines During Process of Phthalate Alternative Rulemaking

Proposed Rule to Ban Chemicals is Invalid Because it Uses Outdated Data

New York, NY/Washington, DC – The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is once again pushing the boundaries of its regulatory authority by preparing to issue a rule on the basis of outdated data and faulty reasoning. Long known for its overzealous over-regulation, the CPSC voted to move forward in late December last year with a draft rule that would ban children’s toys and child care articles containing specified phthalates.

Phthalates are used in a variety of consumer goods to make them more durable and to prevent plastics from shattering. The circumstances surrounding CPSC’s ruling fly in the face of any pretense of scientific reasoning, objectivity, or transparency.

Below is an excerpt of comments submitted by Jeff Stier, Senior Fellow at the National Center for Public Policy Research and the head of the Risk Analysis Division (RAD):

What’s worse, even though CPSC was aware of this fatal flaw in the CHAP report, it relied on this aspect of the report, ignoring these concerns that would have surely been raised had the CHAP report been subject to open peer review.

The supposed logic of the extension of the DINP ban is that all exposure, no matter how remote, is a problem.

The CHAP report didn’t even justify an expansion in a direct manner, rather leaving CPSC to conjecture as to a basis for the ban…

When Congress passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act in 2008, it did not give the CPSC power to remove safe products from the marketplace if the effect of such a ban would be minimal. It simply didn’t give CPSC power to remove products that were safe, or that could only be shown to present a risk based on old exposure data we know to be no-longer accurate.

Animals and People Are Getting Fatter

I would guess that a certain percentage of fat people are fat because they are poor eaters, lazy and probably lack any actual willpower to do much of anything about maintaining some sense of good eating habits, blah, blah, blah. As much as all of us try to blame social decay for being fat, how does one explain recent findings that as people get fatter, so do animals; and not just the animals people have chosen to get fat as their pets in order to be just like them? Wild animals are getting fatter too.

An article in Aeon Magazine, attempts to explain what’s going on but really hates to get away from blaming it all on social events.

Consider, for example, this troublesome fact, reported in 2010 by the biostatistician David B Allison and his co-authors at the University of Alabama in Birmingham: over the past 20 years or more, as the American people were getting fatter, so were America’s marmosets. As were laboratory macaques, chimpanzees, vervet monkeys and mice, as well as domestic dogs, domestic cats, and domestic and feral rats from both rural and urban areas. In fact, the researchers examined records on those eight species and found that average weight for every one had increased. The marmosets gained an average of nine per cent per decade. Lab mice gained about 11 per cent per decade. Chimps, for some reason, are doing especially badly: their average body weight had risen 35 per cent per decade. Allison, who had been hearing about an unexplained rise in the average weight of lab animals, was nonetheless surprised by the consistency across so many species. ‘Virtually in every population of animals we looked at, that met our criteria, there was the same upward trend,’ he told me.

It isn’t hard to imagine that people who are eating more themselves are giving more to their spoiled pets, or leaving sweeter, fattier garbage for street cats and rodents. But such results don’t explain why the weight gain is also occurring in species that human beings don’t pamper, such as animals in labs, whose diets are strictly controlled. In fact, lab animals’ lives are so precisely watched and measured that the researchers can rule out accidental human influence: records show those creatures gained weight over decades without any significant change in their diet or activities. Obviously, if animals are getting heavier along with us, it can’t just be that they’re eating more Snickers bars and driving to work most days. On the contrary, the trend suggests some widely shared cause, beyond the control of individuals, which is contributing to obesity across many species. (emboldening added)

For those following any of this issue, know that it has been officially determined (many of us have known this for decades) that chemicals in our food supplies as well as those that we ingest willingly and/or unwillingly, alter and render useless any formulas being used to determine caloric intake. The chemicals so change the process of how food is digested and nutrients absorbed into our systems that mere calorie counting is a waste of time.

These chemicals are prevalent everywhere, i.e. in our crops, food, our lawns and gardens, garbage, etc., and what gets sprayed on us from above with the chemical spraying the United States Government does, animals in the wild cannot escape being subjected to the same abuse by chemicals us humans are. Is this not the “widely shared cause” mentioned above as to why both humans and animals are getting fatter? And isn’t this being done by design? Isn’t it?

If Michelle Obama and Michael Bloomberg really wanted people to not be fat anymore, wouldn’t they be looking at eliminating the chemicals we are forced to eat? Oh wait. Maybe that’s not what they have in mind.
