Why Elevating the Debate on Gun Control is Ceding Rights

Everywhere I go I hear and read the same old malarkey about how gun rights advocates will not “rationally” and “reasonably” join in a national debate to limit access to guns. Those making the demands for such “debate” as they wish to misrepresent their cause, attempt to paint a picture that anyone not wishing to lay down and play dead are “extremist” or “right wing”, along with many other descriptive titles of which I’ll refrain from posting. Gun rights is NOT a left/right issue. Even fascists like Sen. Dianne Feinstein and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg believe in THEIR right to guns for their own protection but seemingly aren’t interested in yours.

From an intelligent perspective, isn’t demanding that others join in THEIR debate on gun control akin to demanding that people sit down and rationally and reasonably debate the need to prohibit the police from entering your home at anytime for any reason just to have a look around? After all, if the police could come into your home anytime, people will be safer – won’t they? Of course the brainwashed masses will immediately say it’s not the same thing. But aren’t they?

Those who say the two are not related do so because they actually believe that because guns exist, mass murders occur. Isn’t that the same as saying that because private homes exist, they are subject to invasion, i.e. robbery, random crime, etc.? And one could further argue that if the people are disarmed, all the more reason cops should invade your home anytime they want because you are not capable of taking care of yourself; just as government wants it.

Most people who advocate for the rights guaranteed in the Second Amendment believe this right is necessary for self protection and the warding off or tyrannical governments, both foreign and domestic and rightfully argue that the presence of guns, no matter the type, is not responsible for mass murders, or killings of any kind.

I’m not attempting to censor the free speech of those seeking bans on guns. It’s disingenuous to demonize people who strongly believe in their right to protection, while at the same time presenting themselves as somehow about the fray because they want to compromise away those rights. This tactic is common throughout all political debate and comes up when one side doesn’t have any fact, truth or data to support the eagerness for dictatorial rule, which is what they are advocating whether they know it or not.

I’m so tired of hearing the ignorance, cultivated through mind manipulation, that comprise is a necessary thing. Compromise is good for things like trying to decide what brand of soda pop to buy for the party but has no place when it comes to the fundamental and inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Before anyone should be talking about further destruction of the Bill of Rights, maybe the “rational” and “reasonable” debate should be about what has happened in our society that ends in things like Sandy Hook.

Guns have been prevalent in the United States at least since the Pilgrims used the blunderbust. Maybe the transformation of a God-fearing, respectful citizenry, founded with a sense of moral duty and responsibility, into a liberal, progressive, decadent, immoral, Sodom and Gomorrah-like culture has something to do with why. Dare we not address that?

City Bans Guns, Gun Ranges Ban Cities

Note: It is the opinion of the editor of this blog that the actions described in this news report have been done solely for the purpose of inciting people to public demonstration and violence. As is pointed out in the article, the police department in this small Vermont town expresses disappointment in the results of the “important and much-needed community dialogue regarding gun control” by showing they don’t like the outcome they believed they could dictate to the people. Too bad. If I’m not mistaken, it was idiots like those in Burlington, Vermont who began this so-called dialogue. This has been anything but a dialogue and now that people are pushing back, the fascists don’t like it. This pushing back can be accomplished without taking guns to the street and killing people. Those behind the effort to disarm America want violence. It’s their only tool to implement marshal law.

A Vermont gun range has banned the Burlington Police Department from using its facility after City Council voted to advance a proposed ban on semi-automatic weapons and high-capacity magazines. And given the fact that such facilities are limited in the area, the move could impact when and where officers can go target shooting.<<<Read More from The Blaze>>>

The Bitter People Speak Out on Obama’s Claim of Shooting With Buddies

bitterpeople

It hasn’t been since late in the 2008 presidential election that the now infamous Bitter People, are once again speaking out about Barack Obama and his ignorant, insincere, mocking comments about the use of guns.

During the 2008 campaign, the Bitter People took exception to the presidential hopeful when he made derogatory remarks concerning gun owning people; he referred to gun owning, rural, spiritual people as “bitter people, clinging to the guns and religion.”

At that time I traveled deep into the forests, hidden someplace in the Appalachian Mountains, to find typical bitter people who cling to their guns and Bibles.

This time, the Bitter People came looking for me, when they heard that President Barack Obama claimed that he goes shooting all the time. They explained that such a comment was akin to them saying that “Ma” don’t wear her nightgown to bed in the deep of winter cold.

It was at that point that “Slim” (the Bitter person shown in photo holding jug of corn liquor) whispered in my ear, “I wonder if some of his best friends is white too?”

It’s too bad really because 5 years ago, a campaigning Obama probably was given a bit of a pass from those he referred to as bitter people. He should have left well enough alone. The Bitter People are angry enough for being spoken to in such a calumnious fashion, but it was “Pa” who said, “Now the President wants to infringe on their clinging right to own guns while at the same time talking down to the folks, treating them like they are stupid, lying saying he goes shooting all the time. We don’t take kindly to liars!”

Perhaps Mr. President has stirred him up a hole hive of angry bees.

Day Thirteen – No Executive Orders

Corruption?

Nothing posted yet!

Wisconsin sheriff tells his constituency to take a firearms safety course and learn how to defend yourself as it is a better option than calling 911.

Day Eleven – No Executive Orders

Barack! What ya Hiding?

Nothing posted here. According to the government-run news media, President Obama signed 23 executive orders. If so, where are they?

And Fascist Feinstein says she won’t make public the details of her proposed “assault weapons” bill until it makes it’s way to committee. Why is that Ms. Feinstein? Hiding something?

Catholic Church Tries to Muscle Washington Against Gun Lobby

It should come as no surprise that the Catholic Church supports the destruction of the Second Amendment and the U.S. Constitution in general. Today, when Fascist Feinstein began her press conference on her destruction of the Second Amendment and a so-called assault weapons ban, she invited the Catholic clergy to begin the conference with a prayer. But before the prayer, the Rev. Canon Gary Hall, mingled church and state (that’s okay with those who need the church on their side), by saying, “Everyone in this city seems to live in terror of the gun lobby,” Hall said. “But I believe that the gun lobby is no match for the cross lobby.”

As fiery as that probably makes a lot of Second Amendment supporters feel, his statement is the truth. The Catholic Church, meaning the Vatican and the hierarchy, own and control much of the gun lobby. So, if you think you are taking on the U.S Government and a handful of fascist-thinking senators, think again.
