Below are several different translations of the same Biblical passages – Genesis 1: 26 and 27. The first is presented, as I found it, in the original (?) Hebrew. Second, is the Mechanical Translation of that Hebrew as presented by Jeff A. Benner. The Mechanical Translation, as we are told, is “a literal translation of Hebrew…word by word. Following that, we can read a Revised Mechanical Translation. And then, I give you the 1599 Geneva Bible. Last, is a modern day translation know as the Living Bible.
