All in a Day’s Work?

I think back in the day when these walls were built, it took a bit longer than just a day to construct. This particular wall, I believe, was built in order to create access to the underneath of a large barn that sat uphill perhaps 20 feet. Remnants of the barn foundation still exist and old photos show that barn sitting there. This was in the late 1800s and very early 1900s.
